"How dare you to put my daughter in prison!" Sirus barged into Kayden's office, angrily.
Kayden felt his presence, he had a werewolf sense, but he also knew he was pathetic, trying to fight with his last card in his pocket.
He stood up and watched Sirus in rage.
"What the hell are you doing here, and who let you speak to me like that'!"Kayden growled.
"I demand that you let Dana now!" Sirus hissed.
"You have no right to demand nothing, old man", Kaden told him.
"Right now, as we speak, hundreds of my alliance are coming to get you and your pathetic fighters, known as rogues", he said.
"I didn't attack you, Carl has his own will", Sirus said, in fear.
"True, but your daughter did, with your rogues, which means the same thing, and there's no way she's getting out because she will be punished, just like you", Kayden said.
"She had some nerve to attack my mate, I won't forget that, or forgive!" Kayden yelled at him.
"What mate?" Your mate is gone, you should be happy that Dana dared to do what some man wouldn't", Sirus told him.
"Are you listening to yourself?"
"You're fucking crazy!" Kayden smiled, in disbelief.
"You can get back to your place and wait the elders with fighters to come and get you, or you can join your daughter, it's up to you, but don't think of running, because from me, there's no escape", Kayden said, with a cold voice.
"You bastard!" Sirus yelled and attacked him, but he couldn't do anything.
Kaden was too strong for him.
In a few minutes, Jake came into the office.
"Take him to the dungeon, he can join his daughter", Kayden ordered, not caring that Sirus yelled and cursed him.
He was already upset enough, because of Alora's missing.
Two months went by, and no sign of her, as she had disappeared from the face of the earth.
It was so frustrating.
He would lay down in bed, smelling her pillow, looking at her clothes, feeling her scent...
It was killing him, slowly but surely.
Ha wanted nothing to do with him, he was furious at first, but now, he was just sad.
He missed his mate so badly, that he had no will to speak to Kayden.
Only when he was running at night, he was free to remember his mate and their puppy.
"I took him there, but the guard already spotted the alliance, they headed toward Sirus's border", Jake said.
"I know, they can destroy everything there if they want, except honest people, if there are any, and later they can take care of him and Dana", Kayden said.
"I don't want to see them never again in my life, or I swear I'll kill them both", he said.
"Anything from L.A?" He asked Jake, while his jaw clenched again, like always when it comes to Alora.
"Our men are looking for her everywhere, and we cooperate with authorities there, and the other packs, but our private detective found something", Jake said.
"What is it?" Kayden asked, while his eyes suddenly glowed.
"She wasn't alone, when she left the airport", Jake told him, carefully.
"She was with a man?!" Kayden asked, furious.
"No, man, she was with an older woman", Jake said, trying to calm him down.
"God damn it, what woman could that be?"! He yelled.
"Calm down, maybe it's one of her friends", Jake said.
"She had no friends, all she had was her job and people she worked with, and that's the risk Alora would never take", Kayden said.
"It must have been something else, maybe someone she met on the plane", he said.
"I haven't thought about that", Jake scratched his beard.
"You think she helped her?" He asked Kayden.
"I don't know, there are werewolves everywhere now, maybe the woman was from another pack", Kayden told him.
"I doubt that Alora would leave into another pack", Jake said.
"True", Kayden confirmed.
"She hardly came into mine", he said.
"Also true", Jake laughed.
"Something amusing for you?" Kayden asked him, seriously.
He was angry at Jake's reaction.
"No, I just remembered the day she got here, at the training ground...", he fixed his hat now, knowing that the thing he just said was inappropriate, because of Kayden.
"I'm sorry man, we all miss her, but I'm sure we will find her soon", he said to Kayden.
"She will give birth soon, and I'll search every hospital there is", Kayden said.
"I'll find her, that's for sure, and when I do, she will be with me again", he said, looking at distance.
"What if she won't?" Jake asked.
"What the hell you mean, if she won't?" Kayden hissed.
"Don't get mad at me, I'm just saying that you are not an example of a true mate ", Jake told him.
"If you want her here, you better put your shit together!" Jake said, frustrated.
"You're,y best friend, but I'll kick your ass if you say something similar again", Kayden said in his deep, cold voice.
"You can do it if you think I'm wrong, but as your friend, I'm telling you that with the best intentions, man", Jake said.
"Think about that", he said, again.
Kayden sighed.
"I'm thinking, it's all I've been doing, in the past few months, you think I haven't thought about my mistakes?" Kayden asked.
"That's good, when you know that you have been mistaken toward her", Jake said.
"In what way?" Kayden asked.
"What do you mean?" Jake asked back.
"I've done everything to protect her and our child, why wasn't that enough?" Kayden asked.
"Maybe because you are overprotective, and giving yourself to her too little", Jake said.
"And, she maybe saw some things differently", Jake told him.
"What the hell do you mean?" Kayden thundered.
"With you and Dana", Jake said.
"It was all acting", Kayden defended himself.
"Alora could kill her and she didn't, and all you asked her was "IS THAT THRUE", man", Jake said.
"I was thrilled she didn't, because of her greatness, Alora is my world", Kayden said.
"Why the hell didn't you tell her that?" Jake asked him.
Kayden just stood there, looking at Jake's face, not saying anything.
"You need to open yourself to her, or you doomed", Jake said to him, seriously.
