Alora felt like all her feelings were inside her, fighting.

His eyes couldn't tell lies, she knew that very well, and she believed him, but also she was scared because he was right.

She could easily give herself to him, here and now, without thinking of consequences, but he didn't use that.

Kayden was different than ever and she felt that.

She was mad at herself thinking how easy she was in his arms, under his touch, but he understood that and didn't blame her or say anything.

That night he truly respected her, which was one more shock for Alora but also a knowledge more about him, which was a positive one.

It was the Kayden she always dreamed of.

Will he stay this way or it was just one of his games?

Kayden took all the things and put them back into the trunk, while she was standing there, looking at the ocean.

She felt his presence behind her.

He hugged her from behind and kissed her neck.

She trembled.

"Are you cold?" He asked, and she turned around.

"No", she smiled shily.

He took off his jacket and put it on her.

"I hope that you had a nice time with me", he said.

"I have, no doubt about that", she answered.

"I feel you're different, you're not the Kayden I knew", she smiled.

"I sure hope so I'm not anymore", he smiled too, and it was like the moon fell on earth for her.

Seeing him smile, was something she wanted to last forever, it made her heart sing.

"I'm sorry if I offended you with my behavior, but I had a hard time concentrating", he said.

"Don't be, I acted the same", she said.

"Really?"

"I haven't noticed", he said like he was surprised, and she laughed.

"Oh, stop, I'm embarrassed", she said when he took her hand and led her toward the car.

"No need for that, it's a natural thing between mates, and you know that very well", he said.

"Thank you for this night", she said standing at the doorway.

"No, thank you, the pleasure was all mine", he said.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked.

"Tomorrow", she answered and left inside the house.

She closed the door and stayed like that, thinking about everything that happened a few hours ago, and Kayden stayed looking at the house for a while.

They both had a hard time being apart and this night was proof.

The days that came, were good for both of them.

They spend a lot of time together, hanging with Kaya, and she came one day after shopping and saw him sleeping on the sofa with Kaya in his arms.

She just smiled and put a blanket on them.

It was a sight that she will never forget.

It was a life that he dreamt of, but even though they ran together sometimes in wolf form, she still felt like missing something.

The freedom of their pack and everything they had there, but it was too hard for her to admit that.

One day he came and the girls were in the living room.

His face was serious and she saw that immediately.

She frightened.

"Is something wrong?" Alora asked, and Violet watched them both, confused.

"I need to go to the pack today", Kayden said.

"Oh, it's okay, you'll be back tomorrow", Alora said, watching him.

His face stayed serious.

"I'll stay longer, at least a week, there were some troubles there that I need to fix", he explained.

Alora's face paled.

It was like someone put a knife into her heart.

She was used to their life in these few months and it was too hard for her for a change.

Violet saw that and took Kaya in her arms, and Alora sat down.

Kayden was beside her.

"Are you okay?" He asked, and she nodded her head.

"You are paled, what is wrong?" Kayden asked.

"Everything", she said with a whisper.

"Talk to me, Alora", he demanded.

"I feel like you're leaving for good", she said.

"I am used to this kind of relationship like we are going somewhere and now you are distancing yourself from me again", she said.

"I understand how you feel and believe me, I feel the same", he said.

"Why are you leaving then?" She asked.

"Alora, you know I have to", he said.

"But I won't leave you or Kaya, I came here to ask you if you would like to come with me", he said.

She watched him in shock.

"Don't get me wrong, I'ts not like I'm forcing you, you could take Violet with you if that will make you safer", Kayden said.

"I thought that you wanted to see your brother and all the friends you left there, and I assure you that I won't force you to stay or anything like that, I'll bring you back myself", he said.

"I would be the happiest man on earth if you would, but that needs to be your choice", he said, holding her hand.

"That's why I came earlier, and the truth is I want all in the pack to meet my little girl that I'm proud of so much", he said.

"Please, think about it and let me know, I'm leaving in 2 hours", Kayden said and left.

It was too hard for him to leave them but he had no choice and he hoped that she would say yes.

Violet ran into the living room, still holding Kaya that now already sleeping.

"If you say no, I'll never speak to you again!" She said like she was angry.

"Do you know how much I wanted to meet a pack and see a life there?" She asked.

"Forever!" Violet whispered, putting Kaya into her crib.

"I miss my brother and my friends, I miss all the people there, it's a wonderful pack, Violet", Alora said.

"So?" Violet asked.

"I heard what he said, and he won't force you to do anything that you don't want to", she told Alora.

"I'm scared", Alora said.

"Of what?" Violet asked.

"That I won't be able to say no" Alora said.

"To Kayden?" Violet asked.

"To the life ,out there, with him", Alora answered.
