Alora was now in the main house, in Kayden's room.

It was twice bigger than hers, with all and more that it was needed for her.

She was lying in a kingsize bed, hucked to the machines, and the Doctor was there often, to check her.

Kayden wanted no mistakes, and Blake was guarding the room, together with Luke, one of his best warriors, also.

"Alpha, I know that Lisa have a lot of other jobs to do, so I would like to be with Luna and help with the things she can't", Ella said to Kayden, the next day at lunch.

"I'll do all by myself, but if there is a need, I'll call you, because I wouldn't allow anyone else to do it" " he told her.

"Thank you, Alpha", Ella said.

She was really worried for Alora but Kayden didn't let anyone get close to her.

He couldn't trust anyone, except a few of them, which was understandable.

"I know you are her closest friend, so you can go to her now, if you want and see her, maybe it will help", Kayden said, without looking at her.

He didn't want them to think how soft he was when it came to Alora, but some things were obvious.

When the attack interrupted the gathering, it gave Alphas more will to cooperate strongly together.

They agreed that something big was going on and that someone inside had his fingers in the attacks because the rogues knew too much information about the packs, which meant that they had someone inside at the position, or they were cooperating with pack members, but it was all speculation until something could be proven.

The fact that all Alphas and their Betas were in a meeting that night didn't help either.

The traitor could be anyone and they were aware of it.

Especially Kayden.

But, one of the Alphas didn't want things to go the way he couldn't control them, just like his daughter.

"Oh, there you are, I've been looking all morning for you", Dana said to Kayyden, when she walked into the kitchen.

When he saw her there, Jake almost choked.

Kayden looked at her like he was looking through her.

"What are you doing here?" He asked her seriously.

"I heard what's happened, I want to help you, while your Luna is sick", she said with sympathy, and Jake wanted to puke.

If she wasn't a woman, he swore that he already would kick her ass, he couldn't stand her.

"You can help me if you leave this minute and never come back", Kayden said.

"But, darling, I thought...", she started confused, but he stopped her.

"Don't you dare to talk to me about my Luna, you have no right, just like you have no right to be here, in my house", he said as coldly as he could.

"I put up you last night because I needed to, but now I don't, so get lost and don't come back, because if you do, I'll kick you out myself", he said.

Her face was red from anger, not to mention that Jake was there, and she was uncomfortable that he heard all.

"Why do you speak like that with my daughter, Kayden?" Sirus asked when he went in there.

"Alpha Kayden to you, forget about the age difference, because for me it's about respect, and now, I don't have any for you or your daughter, and because you know the truth, I believe that you understand", Kayden told him, coldly.

"It was 10 years ago, boy", Sirus raised his voice.

"Shut the hell up!" Kayden gets mad.

"You were supposed to go last night, and you didn't, which is more than suspicious, Alpha Sirus, not to mention that you're walking through my house like you own it, which you don't, so..."

"Take your daughter and leave my property, and never come back again, we are done!" He said.

"You wasn't a war with me?" Sirus asked in disbelief.

"No, Sirus, because you don't want a war with me, so don't worry, But our cooperation is over, and you won't be invited into my house anymore", Kayden told him.

"You will regret this", Dana hissed at him.

"I doubt it", He said, while the guards came in.

"Make sure that they are at the border fast, way out of our territory", he ordered and left, but not before he saw Sirus's evil look that he gave him.

This man wanted something from him, and it had something to do with his daughter, that's for sure.

Dana didn't find a second mate for 10 years, and even if she did, he probably didn't suit her, so now, she wanted the best of them all, the man she threw away once.

Kaden felt that, and she made him sick.

He could read people well, and she was something else.

Even if Alora wasn't here, he still wouldn't want her, she was the reason he was like that today, confused in his heart and mind, especially when it comes to Alora.

Her father was no different either.

He has been a manipulator since the day Kayden met him.

When he offered him help, he didn't consider his feelings or his pack, he wanted all for himself, what a piece of shit, Kayden thought.

That was the main reason he refused him then, and now, but this man was pure evil, and Kayden wouldn't be surprised that he had something to do with the rogues attacking the packs, especially his.

He sighed when he saw them leaving.

Jake entered Kayden's office, while he was at the window, thinking about something.

"Hey man, are you okay?" He asked Kayden.

"Yes, just thinking", he answered and sat by his desk.

He had a lot on his mind but the work couldn't wait forever.

"Yeah, I almost puke at those two, if I may say ", Hake commented.

"You may, but it isn't worth saying, Jake, we have other things on our minds now", Kayden told him.

"I Killed that rogue and now I can't find out anything about the attack at Alora", he said.

" Whoever did it, it was planned because Luna was the target, not you", Jake said.

Yes, because if they wanted to hurt me, they wouldn't want to kill her so badly, not like that anyway", Kayden told him.

"Revenge?" Jake asked.

"Yeah, but who 's behind it?" Kaden asked strangely, more like he was asking himself.
