"Yes, it's become harder to defend from them, even though we have people and straight, but one thing is surely good, that we started to train women too", Jake stated.
"There are pretty good fighters among them", he said.
"So I've heard", Kayden confirmed.
"Anyway, there will be a gathering among Alpha's, we need to see what is going on, and why the attacking only us, so they could help", he said.
"It's obvious why they are attacking, we are the strongest, they want what we got, it was always like that with rogues that had strong leader, always", Ella said, upset.
"Not neseseraly honey, but there is some truth in it", Jake told her.
"True, Kayden said, we werent a big pack the last time they attaced in big number, but who knows, maybe they think it would be e same outcome", he stated.
"You won't say anything, Alora?" Ella asked her, seeing that she was absent.
"I don't think I'm someone who can say anything about it", Alora said, without looking at anyone.
"I was learnd to defend if I was attacked, so, I guess that's how the things goes", she said, smiling at Ella.
After she walked Jake and Ella out, Alora was tired and all she wanted was to go to bed, hoping that sleep would come fast to her.
But, when she was about to climb up, she saw Kayden at the stairs.
He was waiting for her, with his arms in his pocket, looking straight at her.
It seemed like he was nervous, but Alora thought it wasn't possible for him.
He was too cold-hearted.
Just when she wanted to pass by, like he wasn't even there, stopped her.
"We need to talk", his voice was cold but softer than usual.
She noticed that, but she was hurt and had no strength for him right now.
She didn't know what to say, or how to act, she was ashamed in a way, but also was angry at him.
It was very hard for her to look him in the eyes, but she did.
"I don't see what we could talk about", she said, not wanting to have this conversation.
She was uncomfortable beside him.
"About you, us", he said.
"There is no us, you've been very clear about that last time we were together", she said to him.
"Alora I'm sorry for treating you like that", Kayden said.
"I can hear you, feel your breath every time you inhale heavy because you feel bad about everything", Kayden told her.
"I can tell when you awake, tossing in bed and when you finally sleep, tired, I know everything, even when I'm in another room, my sense are too strong when it comes to you" he finished, quietly.
She gulped.
"I hurt you, forgive me, please", he said.
"What do you want?" She asked him.
"You acted like you wanted me beside, then a next minute you're gone , like I don't exist, it doesn't work that way, Kayden", Alora said and walked toward her room.
Kayden went after her.
When she tried to close the door, he wouldn't let her and walked inside.
"Tell me what can I do to make it right", he told her.
"Make up for what you did to me", she said.
"How?" He asked.
"Do you care?"
"You want us to be together?"She asked.
"You know I do", he said.
"No I don't, so prove it", she demanded.
"What do you want me to do?", he asked her, confused.
"Fight for us, try harder, that's all I'm asking of you", she said.
"You know it's too much that you ask of me because I've never had something, someone, in my life", he was honest."
"I'm aware that you need time, and I'm ready to give you that", she said, looking him straight into his honest eyes.
"I've missed you, he said, suddenly.
"Your touch, skin, scent, I miss that, I want you", he said with a hoarse voice, coming closer to her.
She was nervous and petrified.
She didn't expect those words from him, but they made her shiver, just like his presence always did that to her.
"I've missed you too", she whispered, when he touched her cheek.
He kissed her passionately, and she was craving for it, not realizing it, until she felt his lips on hers.
She wanted him too.
When he touched her, she felt her skin was on fire, she needed him close.
Those times that they were apart were hard for her, just as they were for him too.
He had right when he said she couldn't sleep, and he was the reason.
All that situation was killing her inside, and she only wanted him to admit, to realize the truth and his feelings.
He took her suddenly into his arms and looked into her eyes.
"I want you bad", he whispered and carried her to bed.
Alora smiled, shily.
His eyes were black, and she knew that he meant it, because his wolf was impatient.
He undressed himself, standing naked in front of her.
She blushed because he was already hard.
He came close and started to undress her too, until she was naked, tossing her clothes on the floor.
His every touch, made her crave for him more, and he knew that.
It was like a satisfying smile, in the corner of his lips, and it made her happy, knowing that she finally could make him smile, even if it was his satisfaction because of her reaction.
