JJ's (Not So) Secret Lover - Part 23

"Em, you needed me?" You ask while walking out of the door of the bathroom. "Y/N, this is Tracy." 

You look at Tracy, she had puffy eyes and a shake in her hands. "Hi Tracy, I'm Agent Y/L/N. I'm so sorry for your loss, will you follow me into this room here?" 

You usher her into one of the interrogation rooms. She sits down in the chair across from you. You both sit in silence for a second until you say, "Tracy, again, I'm so sorry for your loss. Can you tell me about Megan's parents?" She wipes the tears from her face and a small smile appears on her face as she remembers her girlfriend.

"Her parents hated me, the idea of me. If we wanted to hang out she would have to come to my place and tell her parents she's meeting a boy. They caught on after a while and almost made us break up. She called me last night but I was working, I should have picked up. Stopped her from running."

Tracy, it's not your fault. At all." She continues to cry as you rush out of the room and grab a tissue box. "Here." You pass her the box and sit back down.

You talk to her for a while about Megan and her parents.

JJ comes in and interrupts you and Tracy. "We need you out here." She looks at you and then heads out the door. 

"Sorry, Tracy. You have my card, if you want to call, feel free." You walk her out of the station and then walk back to the team.

"We've got nothing on the unsub. We don't have time to keep trying so Y/N your plan will have to go ahead. Anyone want to volunteer as bait?"

JJ looks at you as if she would kill you if you did but you raise your hand and volunteer. "I'll do it, Hotch." He nods his head and the team get ready for an undercover mission.

Hotch, Emily and you are in one car with the rest of the team in another. Emily is reciting the plan with you while Hotch drives you to the reservoir.

"You start at the gates and run down near the water. An agent will be every 200 feet..." Emily says as you interrupt "Em, I've got it. I know what to do." 

Hotch pulls over and you get out. 

You start running towards the reservoir and go slow pace along it. It's quiet and eerie. You feel at peace here. But, you feel a strange presence behind you. You keep running. 

"Hey pretty lady." A man jumps in front of you, he's carrying something in his hand and is walking towards you.

You stop in your tracks and ask quietly, "Can I help you?" He looks you up and down and gives you a strange smile.

You counted each time you passed an agent, there should be one about 60 feet ahead. "I would love to talk but I should get home." You pick up your pace and keep running. He follows but he's walking, as soon as you hit the agent you watch the man come closer. "Sir, please stop following me." You stay where you are and when he reaches you, you wave to the agent and he points his gun at the man. 

"Give me your handcuffs." You ask the agent and he hands them over. You walk over to the man, strike at him and when he's on the floor you flip him over to cuff him. "You are under arrest for the murder of Megan Carter and 5 other victims." You pick him up and meet the team at the regroup location.

You walk over to the team and see JJ smiling as your and the officer bring in the unsub. "Ok, well, we'll all meet back up at the station."

You hop into the car again with Emily and Hotch and head to the station. You put the unsub into the car with you, he's in the back. 

While heading to the station you hear the man mumble, you ask him "What was that?". He laughs and says louder, "Watch out." You are confused and go back to listening to the music.

Not a minute after, a big bang noise sounds from the side of the car. The car flips and rolls down the road.

You hear a faint noise, a voice from your radio. "Team....down...send...ambulance." You try to get up but you're still buckled in. You reach for the seatbelt buckle and push the button. You fall to the top of the car, you reach into the front and unbuckle Emily's and Hotch's belts. 

"Emily? Hotch?" Your vision is blurry but you can see shadows. You break the window and run over to Emily's side of the car. You pull her out and make sure she's ok, "Em, wake up!" She gasps and opens her eyes. She's ok, just a few cuts and bruises. You leave her sat up against the car and head over to Hotch's side.

"Y/N! Help me out! We need to get the unsub!" You pull him out and he heads to the back of the car, the unsub is missing. 

You go back to Emily. "Em, you sure your ok?" You can't see her but she quietly responds, "I'm all good. Y/N, your face." You rub your face with your hand, bringing your hand into vision and seeing red. 

"Anyone's radio working? We need help." As you pull your radio out of the car, the other SUV is pulling up to you. 

Someone jumps out of the side and runs over to you, you blurt out. "Help Em and Hotch. She's probably got a concussion and Hotch has hearing loss some how." 

"Y/N? Y/N!" You see a figure run over to you, "Y/N, are you ok?" You hear a familiar voice as it get's closer to you. "JJ?" She reaches you and hugs you.

"Y/N, you're bleeding." She says and you say quickly. "JJ, I can't see."
