It's the next morning, a knock at the door wakes you and JJ. She pushes you off the bed and whispers, "Bathroom, hide now. Shush" She opens the door slowly, it's Hotch.
"Hey, I tried knocking on Y/N's door, but there was no answer." He says, as JJ opens the door a fraction more. "Pretty sure they said they'd go for a run in the morning last night."
Hotch notices your clothes in the room but doesn't say anything. JJ says to him, "You head to the breakfast place and I'll wait around for Y/N, we'll walk over." She closes the door gently and you creep out of the bathroom. "Well, that was close" You say as a smile forms on your face, JJ says "We're not doing that again, too close."
You are angry with her again, "Why are you so against people seeing us together? We're not dating or anything. Plus, you're with Will."
She looks worried, you turn to her and say "JJ, it's fine. We're friends, it doesn't matter in any way if we're seen together. Also, I think Hotch saw my clothes, so we've been caught anyway." She rushes to get dressed and tells you to get dressed in your room.
Your bed not slept in and the room is spotless. You feel discomfort with how clean it is, you hop in the shower and get dressed. Meeting JJ outside after about 15 minutes.

You and JJ start walking to the diner down the road, it's a quiet walk. She doesn't talk until you get to the restaurant. "No talking about us, we both went seperate ways last night." she says before getting to the door, "Are you serious? JJ we aren't together. Stop freaking out." You grab the door handle and swing it open and look around for Hotch.
"Hey Y/N, tried knocking on your door, JJ said you were out for a run?" Hotch asks and you quickly reply, "Yeah, needed to clear my head. I just did a few loops around the motel is all." You and JJ sit down and wave to the waitress.
"Morning, can I please get a coffee and a plate of bacon and eggs?" you ask the waitress, "Sure, anything for you two?" She asks JJ and Hotch, "Just what they want, and coffee for the table! Thanks" Hotch replies.
The waitress walks away and Hotch starts the debrief. "As we know, the unsub is sending incendiary devices to employees of the WSS." The waitress comes back with the coffees, and as she walks away you ask Hotch "So, have the team found any disgruntled employees?" Hotch sips his coffee and then replies, "Emily said they have a list of 5 employees who were fired or quit in the last 2 years, only 2 live in Washington. They're our first stop."
The waitress brings you your plate and you eat it while Hotch and JJ are going over the design of the explosive with Derek. You eat quickly and sip on your coffee trying to make eye contact with JJ. She doesn't look up at you, finishing your food quickly, you ask Hotch "Who's place first?"
"We'll head to Peter Spinns' house first, he was fired after an incident with one of their high rollers." He answers your question as you are still trying to make eye contact with JJ. He finishes his coffee and asks the table, "We all ready, we should get going" You are finishing your last bite and JJ is finishing her coffee as you both stand up.
As Hotch gets up you say to him, "Can I drive? I need a distraction." He throws you his keys. JJ follows behind you and you all jump into the car.
You put the radio on, and crank the volume. It's about a 25 minute drive to the suspects house. The trip is fast and quiet. There's an awkward tension floating around.

"And, we're here." You all get out of the car and knock on the door. No answer the first time and a slow answer on the second knock.
"Hi, Mr Spinns? We're the FBI, do you mind if we come in?" Hotch says as you and JJ wave. Mr Spinns opens the door wider and motions for you all to come in. You sit down as the man offers you all a cup of coffee, "None for me, I've had enough already." You say as JJ accepts the mans offer.
"So, Mr Spinns, we're here to ask you a few questions regarding WSS. You were let go last year?" Hotch asks Spinns as he hands the coffee to JJ. "I was let go in May, I had a job with a big money spender but I was late to a few too many jobs for him." He replies, you then go to ask another question when JJ speaks first, "You aren't mad at WSS?" Spinns laughs, "No it was my own fault, got high once or twice and missed the next day, no problems with them at all." You laugh with him and the team is ready to go.
"Thank you very much for your time sir, before we go, do you know anyone from the company that may have a bad history with them?" You ask as he leads you all out the door.
"There was one particular scary guy who worked as a janitor at WSS, he had some grudge against them about a previous job. I didn't pay much attention to his complaining, his name was uh... Dave Cameron" The man says as you are the last out the door.
