JJ's Secret Lover - Part 3

There's only 1 more person left, other than you, that was in your Company. The soldier who left before ArmyTech was equipped moved to Florida and is safe from threat. Cassandra Williams. You both enlisted the same year, and you were in Basic Training together. You were promoted quick and recruited her to your Company. 

She lives in the city and works for the VA. You haven't seen her in years, after she was shot and was returned home for medical rest after 4 weeks into her last deployment. 

"Hotch, Y/N and I are going to stay at the motel today. Tell Daniels to leave us, we'll be fine." JJ is on the phone with Hotchner. She tells him, "We will meet you at the station this afternoon, let us know when you find Ms. Williams and we will come in." You look at JJ, and watch as she hangs up the phone. 

After about 20 minutes, you hear Agent Daniels car leave the motel parking lot. JJ and you work on the case from the room. While you sit at the table with JJ, you have your gun sitting on your lap and watching the window. JJ is worried and says, "Hey, Y/N, you're ok! There's no need for the gun, no one knows were here." 

You won't feel safe without your gun, so you leave it. You stand up and make sure the doors and windows are locked and checking the parking lot for any new cars. As you are standing at the window, JJ comes over and holds onto your hand. "Y/N, I'm here. Are you ok?"

You have never felt so paranoid in your life. "I'm fine, ok. It's just another day at the office."

As you turn to look at JJ, a car pulls into the parking lot. A blue sedan with New York plates. You have never seen this car nor the person in it. "JJ, get behind me." She quickly gets behind you. "JJ, go hide in the bathroom." you say with your eyes trained on the car. "I'm not leaving you Y/N." she says as you pull the curtains apart to get another look. 

A man slips out of the car with a big trench coat and a hat on. JJ is holding onto you while you keep your eyes on the man. He slowly walks towards the room, peeking into each room through the window. You push JJ behind the door and watch the man looking into the rooms. 

The man reaches the room. He sees you in the window and smiles. 

A bang , that's all you hear. JJ's grasp wakens you to the situation. The man is on the floor.

The team was standing in the parking lot. You had not seen them, all you were focused on was the man. JJ's trying to talk to you, "Y/N, you're ok! The team got him, it's ok. You're safe." You feel as though you're back there, back in Afghanistan watching your people die. The bang sent you back. 

You breathing gets heavy and your chest feels tight. You collapse onto the floor and crouch next to the door. All you can think about is your people and all you can see is a blur. 

JJ reaches your level and says, "Y/N, what's happening? You're ok, they got him." She tries to hold your hand but you push her away. She falls onto the floor and you move to the edge of the bed. Emily barges in and tends to JJ.

She sees you on the floor, and asks JJ, "What's going on? How long have they been like that?" JJ replies, "Since the team shot the unsub." 

Emily rushes to you and grabs onto your hands, "Y/N, you are with me. Focus on your breathing, in and out." Your breathing is still heavy, you feel nauseous. She puts her hand on your chest and breathes with you, you centre yourself back into the room. You grab Emily's keys from her pocket and walk to her car, "Y/N, where are you going? Give me back my keys" Emily yells while you open the driver door.

You just drive, to anywhere but here.
