JJ's Secret Lover

JJ's Secret Lover - Part 8

A few minutes later,  you hear a faint sound. "Y/N! Y/N! Wake up!", you hear a voice but can't comprehend what's going on. 

You can't hear a lot, your ears are ringing and your body is sore. You blink a few times and collect yourself, "Y/N, stay still, ok?" You don't understand what she means, so you just lay there. 

You see Hotch run over to you, JJ puts her jacket on you. You try to look down but JJ says "Keep your eyes on me, okay?" 

You have no idea what's going on, you can hear a faint siren like sound and you look towards the bunker to see it gone. 

The door and bunker were blown to pieces. You close your eyes.

You open your eyes again and you're in a rocking van, JJ is holding your hand and telling you to "Look at me, keep your eyes on me." You still have no clue what she is talking about, she watched you close your eyes again. "Y/N! Keep your eyes open, ok? Stay with me." You try your best to keep your eyes open and on JJ. 

"What's going on JJ?" You piece together a sentence, she has tears in her eyes. "You're ok. Just keep your eyes on me, okay?" 

You're wheeled into the hospital, JJ is right next to you. Your eyes close again.

"...they've been hit...shrapnel, but...be ok" you hear from outside the room as your eyes slowly open again. You look around, you're in a hospital room. You look to the right and see JJ and the team.

She wipes the tears from her face and rushes in to your room. She quietly says, "Y/N. Hey. You're ok. I'm here." You try to get up in your bed but she stops you, "Hey, just rest ok?"

You look around again, seeing the team out the room window. "JJ, what happened?" you ask as she wipes the rest of the tears from her face. "You were hit by some shrapnel from the door panels. You pushed me out of the way, you saved my life." 

You look her up and down making sure she's okay. Just a few scratches and bruises. 

You look out the window again, "How's Hotch? And the rest of the team?" she looks at you and smiles, "They're all ok. Don't worry." You keep looking out the window and notice Will walking towards the team, "JJ, your boyfriend is here. You should go, tell Em to come in."

She hesitantly walks out the door watching you as she leaves, Will embraces her in a hug while she tells Emily to come into the room. 

"Hey, how do you feel?" she asks as she sits on the bed. "Great, these painkillers are amazing. Better than the last time I got hit with shrapnel" she lets out a laugh and you both smile. 

She looks at JJ hugging Will and turns back to you and says, "JJ's been worried sick. She hasn't left your side. What's going on with you two?" You look at JJ.

"I don't know Em, she's been really weird since the ArmyTech case." Emily smiles and says, "I'm so glad your alive, I don't know what I would do without you." She attempts to hug you but you wince in pain. She lets go and sits down in the chair next to you and you say, "I might get some sleep Em, these painkillers are amazing but are making me sleepy."

You wake up to nurses and doctors around you, all sighing in relief. JJ is standing in the doorway and walks over to you as your eyes open again. "Y/N! We thought we'd lost you." The nurse says to you, "You're wound is quite big, limit the amount of movement you make, ok? You lost your heartbeat for a second, we'll have to keep you for a few days." JJ looks at the nurse and says, "Can I stay with them? I'll keep my eye on them." You both smile. 

The nurse leaves and JJ sits on the bed, "You almost died, again. I'm not leaving until you're discharged." 

You look at JJ and quietly say, "JJ. I think I'm in love with you." She smiles and looks out the window, "Y/N. You have so many drugs running through your body..." You stop her from finishing what she was going to say, "JJ. This isn't the drugs. So you either stay here or go back to Quantico with Will. Your choice, no hard feelings."

She gets up and catches Will leaving, you can slightly see them from your room. You can't hear anything but they walk away.

You assume she's picked Will and decide to get some rest. You gave her a choice and she picked.

After some rest and a few hours later, it's only Emily and Spencer left at the window when you look over. Then you look over at the chair next to you and someone is sitting in it.

It's JJ.

"JJ? I thought you chose." You are so confused, "I left to break up with Will. I want to see where this goes, but the team can't find out ok?" 

You smile, and reach for her hand. She gets up and sits on your bed. "I think I'm in love with you too, Y/N."
