My Phantom of the Opera

Only for Him

The Diva left Europe and traveled to Manhattan. She wanted to find an audience that will respect her talent. Giving her the attention she feels she deserves. She also wants to get the attention of the new owner of Coney Island. He calls himself Colin Millet. 

"Jesus, what a crowd?" exclaimed the Diva. "Nervous" asked a girl. "Not at all" responded the Diva. "Look at you now" responded the girl. "Back in the headline" responded another girl. "You are a major girl" said the first girl. "You are a major hit" responded the second girl. 

"I wonder what he'll think" said the Diva with excitement. "The boss?" asked the first girl. "Ha, if he's even here" laughed the second girl. "I'm sure he is here, and you will get the attention you crave" said the first girl. "And in just two days he'll be there tossing you bougets at our gala premiere. Can you picture it" asked the second girl. 

"The queen of Manhattan?" said the first girl. "Celebrities, millionaires!" exclaimed the second girl. "Watching you!" said the first girl. "I'll be waiting in the wing. Wound up tighter than a spring. As the house begins to dim and I'll practice every line. Hoping desperately to shine. Shining only for him now that Jasmine Daae is gone!" said the Diva. Then the girls said, "Just imagine how they'll cheer at the moment you appear." 

The Diva says "Stepping out before the scrim. Let them whoop and let them call. I won't hear the crowd at all." The girls agreed "No, it's only for him!" "Tell me how I look" demanded the diva. "Fine" responded girl one. "Just fine?" asked Carlota. "What about my hair?" "Beautiful" responded the second girl. "You swear?" demanded Carlota. "Trust me, once the boss sees how you put that song across" started the first girl. "Hell, he ain't got a prayer!" finished the second girl. "Oh, you mean it?" asked Carlota. "You'll stand proud into the light" yelled the girls. "Looking lovely" said the first girl. "Burning bright" added the second girl. 

"I will be singing only for him" responded Carlotta getting excited. "And before the music dies, up the audience will rise. Nearly bursting at the brim and you'll stand there in the glow," said the girls. "And perhaps at last he'll know..." started Carlotta. Then Girl 3 cut her off "Girls, hurry up, we're on!" 

A/N: In the musical this part was performed by Meg aka Rachel in this story, but I have a problem with her being crazy so all this stuff in trying to impress Him, I will have the Diva from the Phantom of the Opera back.
