The Audience
"Where is she?" asked someone. "Look! The Center! Just like in the Posters!" says another person. "The Ooh-la-la- girl!" announced the announcer. Everyone yelled "La Carlotta!"
"Welcome, each and every one to our firmament of fun" sang Carlotta. "A buffet of Ballyhoo" said the background girls. Everyone on the stage sang "It's where Coney comes to play and its opening today." Then Carlotta "And it's only for you!" to the audience. Each girl sings "And you! And you! And you!" The Girls and Carlotta sang "Entertainment Day and night. Sure to dazzle and delight." Only Carlotta sang "And of course we'll be there too!"
"Yoohoo" yelled the girls. "We're so happy that you're here for this season's big premiere and it's only for you" sang Carlotta. The girls laughed and the audience cheer.
Then the announcer came on. "Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Carlotta! The ooh-la-la girl! Five shows daily only here at Phantasma! And now the aerial exoticism of the fabulous Miss Fleck! Half bird, half woman! All for only 10 cents a ticket."
