Gustave is singing.

"Ready?" asked the Stagehands.

"Will she sing? Will she flee? What is she thinking now?" Raoul asked. "Is it him or is it me? The Devil take the hindmost." "Ready on the floor? asked the Stagehands. "Will she stay" asked Raoul. "Obey your heart my love," said the Phantom. "Will she go?" asked Raoul. "And sing for me?" finished the Phantom. "Does she know you want it so, even now?" asked Raoul. "Stay and be mind, please Jasmine. Eternally with me" begged the Phantom. "Stop the show" demanded Raoul.

"Now it's time. So, make your choice. Do it for our son" they both said. "Use your head" responded the Phantom. "No time to wait" answered Raoul. "Hesitate and we are all undone" they both said.

"Ready in the pit" the Stagehand asked and the other said "Yes."

"Perhaps she won't go on" responded Carlotta. "Will she stay?" asked Raoul. "This is what you want. Obey your heart, my love" responded Phantom. "Perhaps she'll lose her nerve" responded Carlotta with a gleeful smile. "Will she go?" asked Raoul. "And sing for me' continued the Phantom. "Perhaps her voice will be terrible tonight" responded Carlotta. "Does she know?" asked Raoul. "And sing for me once more" responded Phantom. "And she will fail him now" responded Carlotta. "Even now??" asked Raoul. "You, me, and the child" responded the Phantom. "Gustove is MY child" responded Raoul. "Please Jasmine, eternally" begged Phantom. "Will get what we deserve" responded Carlotta. "Stop the show" demanded both Carlotta and Raoul.

Devil Take the Hindmost

"Perhaps she won't go on" the manager suggest to Carlotta. "What do you mean?" Carlotta asked. "Will she stay?" asked Raoul. "Obey your heart" responded the Phantom. "Perhaps she'll lose her nerve" responded the Manager. "I hope so" responded Carlotta. "Will she go?" asked Raoul. "And sing for me" responded the Phantom. "Perhaps her voice will fail her" suggested the manager. "No one can be better than me" responded Carlotta. "She will fail him now" responded the manager nodding. "Even now??" asked Raoul hopeful. "You, me, and our son" responded the Phantom. "And then my child and I. Please Jasmine, eternally." "Will get what we deserve" responded the Manager. "And stop the show" said the manager, Carlotta, and Raoul.

Devil take the hindmost.

Now it's time, no turning back now. All is on the line. Here it is the final dance. One last chance to get what's mind. Last time Raoul won Jasmine. Will Jasmine still be is or does her heart truly belong to the Phantom?

Carlotta's manager went over to the Phantom. "I hope Jasmine is worthy of you. I hope her singing makes up for what your blindness has done to Carlotta and me." The Phantom roll his eyes and walked away.

"Devils take the hindmost" said Carlotta holding Gustove. "It's time for you mother's performance." "I can't wait" responded Gustave.

"And curtain!" yelled the Stagehand.

Time for the show to start and to see once and for all who Jasmine truly loves. What will happen to the boy? Will the same fate that happened in either "The Phantom of Manhattan" or "Love never dies" happen in my story? Only time will tell. Stay tune in the next chapter of My Phantom of the Opera.
