     Marinette's POV:

I can sense my soulmate is sad. Why? It is not like I called him ugly or anything.

I do not understand boys sometimes. Anyway, I hope he likes what I made for him.

It is this green sweater with black cats on it. I was not sure what else to give him.

I can't wait to see him. The thought makes me nervous and giddy all at once.

What if he thinks my hairstyle is too immature for someone my age? I have not worn different than pigtails or space buns in a long time.

I smile.  Man, if only I knew his name. Then, I would know exactly when it was him.

I could have passed him by on the street and not even known.

I  bake some cookies for him too. I hope he likes sugar cookies, but not many people do. I like chocolate chips, but I made sugar cookies for him.  I thought it made sense because he is my sweetheart.

Oh, where shall we meet? I  did not remember to ask him that or as to a time.

How silly of me. I shall need to ask.

I  select the number he sends me messages from surprised it does not list his name only what I refer to him, kitty, or Chat.

"Hi, soulmate, I was wondering, where shall we meet?" I hit the send button before I stop myself.

I hear nothing but silence the rest of that day. I frown. Where did I go wrong?

The next day, I go outside since the sun is shining bright and take my sketchbook.

Tikki, my cat comes along too. I do not know if I told him I have a cat.

I  began to sketch a portrait of Tikki. When I finish, I smile, wow, the resemblance is amazing, I thought.

Next, I sketch a boy standing at the bottom of the steps. Who is he?  I notice he has a cat with him too.

I don't call out so as not to startle him. I sketch his cat first, then him. I blush after I finish because the boy in the white shirt, black suit jacket,  blonde hair, and green eyes is cute.

I put away the sketches searching for something else to work on when the boy approaches me. I squint because of the sun's glare. He points to my hair and hands me something.

"What is it you have there?" I ask the boy.

"It is ribbon, see I found this way over there," He says. I expect it and realize then one of my hair ribbons came loose.  "Thanks, uh," I say.  I  have not exactly been introduced properly yet.

"I am of no importance, I am sure, Miss. What were you doing just now?" He asks.

"I was sketching, I am an artist," I tell him.

"Wow, that is cool, one of my friends is an artist too," He says.

"Oh, is that a fact?" I ask him.

"Yes, and have fun sketching," He says.

I smile at him.  The boy's cat comes over to my cat and meows. It seems the cats are getting acquainted rather fast.   "Well, would you look at that? Your cat likes mine," I remark.
