 Description:

     A girl was miraculously given the power of the ladybug, and a boy was miraculously given the power of the cat. Neither knew about the other. The girl lived in Paris, France, and the boy lived far away in Rome, Italy. They were young when they became heroes of their worlds.

     The girl was Zoe Lee, and the boy was Luka Cuffiane.

  The young girl was twelve and the boy was thirteen at the time.  Neither knew what would happen many years later.

Time skip!

Ten years later...

 Zoe's POV:

  I woke up like any other day but felt that today was different. I was not sure how since I had been the ladybug hero for a long time. I was now twenty-two, but I remember the day my miraculous appeared on my front porch as if it were yesterday.

    I recalled how soon after I was chosen to be the hero, I was told I would find my partner, the one I was to marry when the time was right.  Well, it has been ten years and I still have not found whoever it is for me.

    Maybe I am destined to be single.  Who knows? For now, I am content to be alone.

      

  I got up and prepared for the day. I checked to see my miraculous was secure as usual, then styled my hair back in the typical bun with the red polka-dotted ribbon.

   I wore a red dress with matching leggings and shoes. It was my favorite outfit ever. I had many similar outfits but in various colors: blue, pink, yellow, purple, white, green, black, and finally, gray.

    I occasionally wore jeans. It was because to do otherwise would be rather lame.  I headed to my job at the local pet store.  I arrived on time. Good thing too since my boss was furious over my being late so often.

"Zoe, you are the person I was looking for. Could you show the new boy around?  He needs to be shown the ropes before he gets started. It is his first day and all." The boss said.

  "Sure thing, boss," I said. I did not see the new guy enter the building. I looked around me expecting to see some immature teen ready to work. What I saw instead was this hot new man standing before me. Wait what?

      "Hi, you must be Zoe. I have heard so much about you," he said, holding his hand out as he spoke.

    "Yes, that is me. You are?" I remarked. "Luka Cuffaine, I just moved here from Italy," he said. "Italy, wow, you are a long way from home then, What brings you to France?" I asked.  "I need a fresh start," he said. "Then, you came to the right place," I said.

     I showed him around.

      "You okay?  You seem kinda tense," Luka stated. "I am fine," I answered while blushing in the process. Luka smirked. "You and I are going to get along just fine."
