    Kagami's POV:

I picked up where I left off by telling my children how their father and I met two nights later.  I could tell they were all shocked about how awful my home life was growing up. I never knew my father and my mother treated me horribly. " I was tired of the abuse," I explained.

"Felix sensed something was off when I came to school a few days later with an eye patch and a sore arm.  I was too embarrassed to say anything. He ensured I was able to stay a few weeks in a hotel. A few weeks later, I received word my mother was dead. I was sorry I had left her. I loved her despite how bad she was to me. She was my only family."

"I continued to see Felix. I did not know where we stood since he had not said. I was rather insecure. I began to think he may be seeing another girl. I would be heartbroken. I sighed. I saw him after class towards the end of high school. 'Felix, where do we stand?'  Kagami, I thought you knew, he said. He held my hand. I shook my head.  You are my girlfriend, and I love you." Felix said. "You love me?" I looked at him in surprise.  "Yes, I do." He said.

I smiled as I walked home with him. Once I got home, He kissed me. I was surprised. I had never kissed anyone before.  I kissed him. I found I liked it very much. "Good night, darling," I said.

I explained how early into my college years, Felix came by and he bent on one knee with a ring in his hand. "Will you marry me?" He asked. I said yes. We were married a year later. Well, kids, this is how your father and I met and got together," I said.

"Mom, when did you have us?" Maggie asked."Well, the triplets were born a few months after we got married, the twins came along soon after this, and then we adopted Ted." I told her.

Maggie, Ted, Suzie, Kara, Helen, and Felix Jr. took turns hugging me. I was glad that I finished explaining the story of me and Felix to our children. I had not told them yet. Only Felix knew the bad news. I was ill of health. I had not told them. I didn't want the children to worry.

       Bonus Part:

     Felix's POV:
I sobbed as I watched all our children except for little Ted place a flower at the graveside. I knew this was coming but did it have to be so soon? The house has not been the same since she died. My dear sweet, wife.

"Kagami, I miss you," I said.

"Daddy, I miss her too," Maggie said.

"Me too," Kara and Helen said.

"I do too," Felix Jr said as a tear rolled down his cheek.

      "Same here," Suzie added.

I went home after the funeral with five of six kids. The sixth one, Ted was staying at my mother's home. I did not think he was old enough to understand the death of his mother. I found it the hardest thing to deal with the death of my Kagami. She was the love of my life. I knew ever since I saw her that day outside the locker.
