Chapter 7 (Part 1)

After the program, pinaquiz lang naman kami ng aming first teacher. Bait noh?

I finished my quiz for just a short time kaya pinaglaruan ko nalang ang ballpen ko. While playing on my ballpen, Xander suddenly talk to me.

"Frischia, congrats ha? Ikaw lang talaga yung nagchampion sa lahat ng sinalihan mo. Galing!" Bati niya sakin.

"If you love what you're doing, hindi malabong magchachampion ka. Sikap at tiyaga lang yan." I simply said to him.

"Ahh right. By the way, kanina akala ko hindi kayo darating. Sayang sana yung upuang pinareserve ko para sa inyo."

What?! He's the one who reserved those seats for us? Unbelievable!

I turned my head to face him and ask, "You're the one who reserved those seats in the front for us?" A little bit shocked.

"Ammm, yes? Bakit pala? Bawal ba?" He asked, confused.

I didn't reply and decided to take a nap on my desk. So, It's him. Infairness, he's nice hahahaha

*Kriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing*

Recess na namin kaya pumunta na ako sa mga kaibigan ko.

"Our quiz was so difficult! Grabe na rin yon!" Reklamo ni Jeyves.

"I know right! How about you, Rufi and Frisch? How's your scores?" Baling nila samin ni Rufi.

"Still the same." I simply answered.

"What?! You perfect it again?! Edi ikaw na! Ikaw na talaga!" Naiinggit na sabi ni Ella.

"How about you, Rufi?" Tanong ni Jeyves, but Rufi didn't answer. She seemed so spaced out. Nakatingin sa kawalan. Is this still because of Waxx?

"Rufi!" They both shouted for Rufi to wake up from her imaginations. It's obvious in her face that she was startled.

"H-ha? W-why?" She aske, shocked and curious.

"What's with you? Kanina ka pa namin kinakausap but you seemed so spaced out." Puna ni Ella.

"Ahh. I'm sorry. I just remember something."

I saw tears forming in her eyes. Anytime ay babagsak na ang luhang pinipigilan niya.

"Is it still about him?" I asked, worriedly.

Bigla nalang bumuhos ang luha niya kaya I know that it means, 'Yes'. Shit! Yang Waxx na naman na iyan. Kainis! Boys will always be boys. I hate them more now.

"Who are you talking about?" Jeyves and Ella asked, confused.

"Waxx." I simply answered while comforting Rufi. I know that feeling, Rufi. I feel you.

"Why? What did he do?" It's so obvious that they are so clueless about what happened.

I told them both everything happened yesterday because I know that Rufi can't talk to them without breaking down. After I told them everything, nag-alburoto agad sila sa galit pero pinigilan din nila yung galit nila dahil kailangan muna naming icomfort si Rufi. She's in a very deep pain now. I know that feeling damn too well.

*Kriiiiiiiiiiiing*

Natapos na ang recess namin pero hindi man lang kami nakakain kahit konte. I'm sure na gugutumin na naman ako nito mamayang lunch. Habang naglilecture ang teacher, pasulyap- sulyap ako kay Rufi na namumugto pa ang mga mata pero nahimasmasan na rin. I am so worried to her. That was her first love. And that's also her first heartbreak experience. I hope that this will be a lesson to her. Because most of them will only break our hearts.

Napalingon ako sa pintuan nang nagsalita si Xander dahil nalate siya. Pasalamat siya at hindi masyado strikto ang guro namin ngayon dahil kung hindi, lagot talaga siya.

"You didn't take your recess." Puna niya. That is not a question, instead, that's a statement. Napansin niya talaga yun? Woah! How? Ganyan ba siya kaObservant sa mga taong kakilala niya?

"Do you care?" Pagsusungit ko na medyo ngumisi. Nanlaki naman ang mata ko because of what came out from his mouth,

"Siyempre, mahal kita eh." Bulong lang yung last three words na sinabi niya pero rinig na rinig ko pa rin.

Nagkamali lang siguro ako ng rinig kaya napagdesisyunan kong tumahimik nalang.

*Kriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing*

Lunch na. Yes! Makakakain na rin ako. I am super duper ultra mega hungry. Nag-aayos na ako ng aking mga gamit nang biglang tumunog ang aking tiyan. OMG! Nandito pa talaga si Xander! So embarrassing!

"You're not hungry, huh? Hahaha" He teased and laugh so loud.

"Shut up!" I said, irritated.

Nauna na siyang lumabas ng classroom kaya dumiretso na ako sa mga kaibigan ko and we went directly to the canteen. I was shocked because of seeing again the kid who gave me a styro with foods last time, walking straight into my direction.

"Miss, someone told me to give you this." He said and handed me the styro and coke in can that he was holding. Above the styro, I found a note.

'I know you're hungry so eat this. Hope you like this. Eatwell.'

That is what's written on the small note outside the styro. Naks naman! Pursigido tong Mr. Mysterious na to ah! Hahaha. Umupo na ako dun sa may bakanteng upuan at sinimulang kainin yung bigay ni Mr. Mysterious. I was so hungry na eh.
