Chapter 2 (Part 1)

It's already time for recess and I'm with my friends. Even I'm a bitter and a snobber, I still have friends. They were my friends since then. We all knew each other very well. They are the people who are always with me in good times and in bad, especially before.

"Oh, Ms. Bitter, what happened to you in class earlier? We saw that you were very stunned because of our teacher's question." Worried by my friend, Ella.

"She has so many questions. I guess she didn't know the word, 'Privacy'." Inis kong sabi sa kanila.

"Chill, girl. She doesn't know anything about your past." Sabat ni Rufi.

"Kaya nga dapat, wag nalang siyang makialam kasi wala naman siyang alam." Inis ko pa ring sabi.

"Change topic na nga mga beshy. Atey! Ang swerte mo naman kasi ikaw yung tinabihan ni Fafa Xander. Sana sakin nalang siya tumabi. Sayang naman yung pagpapaganda ko kanina nung pumasok siya ng room." Nalulungkot na sabi ng kaibigan kong bakla na si Jeyves.

"Three words. I don't care." Pagsusungit ko sa kadramahan niya.

"Ouch! Ang chaket nun!" Nagdadrama pa siya na kunwari nasasaktan siya.

"Ikaw talaga Jeyves! You are already informed that Frischia hates to talk anything about guys but you're still talking about it with her! shunga ka talaga!" Inis na sita ni Ella kay Jeyves.

"Chori po. Nagkaamnesia lang aketch eh." Pagsisisi ni Jeyves.

"Stop this nonsense talks! I'm hungry already. Can we eat first?" Naiiritang tanong ni Rufi.

"Kahit naman sabihin naming hindi pwede, kakain ka pa rin naman. Kaya don't ask for our opinions nalang." Masungit kong sagot.

Saming apat, si Rufi talaga yung laging gutom. Pag naiinis siya or galit, pagkain lang ang katapat nyan. Pero sobrang unbelievable talaga na siya pa ang pinakapayat samin apat. Really unbelievable, right?

Habang pumipila kami sa canteen, may biglang lumapit sakin na isang batang lalaki na sa tingin ko ay grade 10 student palang.

"Miss, may nagpapabigay po nitong lunch na to para sayo." He said and hand me the lunch inside the styro.

"Who?" Tipid kong tanong but deep inside, there's a part of me which is very curious. I'm informed that there are many students here in our school who admires me but no one did such thing like this to me. He's so mysterious.

"I can't tell." Sagot nung bata sabay alis.

Ah ganun? Kailangan talagang magpakamisteryoso? Pero, thank you nalang kung sino man siya. Di ko na kailangang magpakapagod sa pagpila.

I walked out of the line and find a vacant seats for us. They were jealous because I have a secret admirer, again. Wala tayong magagawa kasi maganda ako eh! hahahaha. When I found a vacant seats for us, I sat there and open the styro. Infairness, the guy who gave this has a great sense of taste. Fried chicken, Rice, Beefsteak, and Spaghetti are the foods inside the styro. My favorites! Hahaha.

Pagdating ng mga kaibigan ko sa pwesto namin, halata ko na naman ang inggit sa kanilang mga mukha hahaha. I saw the little guy earlier going straight to my direction again.

"Miss, there's more." He said and handed me a note and walked away.

'Hope you like the foods. Have a nice lunch :)'

That's what is written in the note that was given to me. After i read it, pinag-agawan naman ng mga kaibigan ko yung note at tumili ng bonggang-bongga. Samantalang ako, sarap na sarap at focus na focus sa kinakain ko.

"Ter! I can see Xander looking at you every minute. I mean, he was staring at you. And he'll suddenly smile. I guess he's crazy." Natatawang sita ni Rufi.

I turned my head in the direction they're looking at to confirm if it was real. And yes, it was definitely real. But he suddenly avoid his stare when he saw that I was looking. Why would he stare at me? I guess he's really crazy hahaha.

I turned my attention back to my food kasi wala akong pake kahit titigan niya pa ako ng bonggang bongga.

"Baka siya yung nagbigay nung lunch sayo, Frisch." Kinikilig pa rin nilang sabi.

"Maybe. But I. STILL. DON'T. CARE" Sinabi ko sa kanila at umismid.

They didn't bother to answer because they knew that my BITTER mode is definitely ON.
