This oneshot was requested by @wildcat96 on AO3. It was asked that I write a oneshot about the Thundertwins finding out Chloe was being bullied by an older girl, inspired by WWE wrestler Zena Starling, because she'd seem like the cliche sitcom over the top bully sort, no offense to her of course. I hope I do the idea justice. And of course, I don't own the Thundermans, Nickolodean does.
Not long after the return to Hiddenville, Phoebe and Max, taking a temporary break from leading missions with their family so they could all emotionally recover from the major battle against the V-team, and from nearly losing both Chloe and Phoebe, the twins noticed a change in the behavior of their youngest sibling.
Chloe gradually became less and less interested in going to the skate park with her friends, despite her extreme eagerness when they'd first arrived. From there, she became more and more withdrawn, despite her general excited and energetic personality.
At first, Max and Phoebe had both ignored it, thinking she was maybe just realizing how close she'd been to losing her own life and she was trying to figure out how to move past it. Besides, with how very....helicopter parent-y, Barb and Hank were, the twins had assumed that their parents had already gotten involved.
But when the behavior stretched to the third week mark, and no change occurred from there, at least not positively, well, Max got....nosy.
"Come on, Pheebs. Just to make sure Chloe's okay?"
Phoebe groaned. "Max, we've been having this conversation for an hour. We shouldn't be spying on Chloe."
"Not even for ten minutes? Just to make sure she's okay getting to school?"
"Oh, fine!" Phoebe gave in, sure she'd be able to hold this one over his head.
And so, when Chloe left the house to go to school, her eldest two siblings....followed her? Look, they were just worried was all. Besides, President Kickbutt was sending Billy and Nora to a special Hero camp to help inspire younger heroes for the entire summer, and every attendee needed a parent to accompany them, so Max and Phoebe would be in charge of watching Chloe for the summer anyway, which was only a few weeks away. This would be good parenting practice. Gotta hone those parenting instincts, Max had chirped happily at his annoyed twin when they were still arguing over it.
It was while trailing her, trying to act completely inconspicuous of course, that they'd noticed a tall blonde girl storming, storming, up to their sister. She was much taller than Chloe, likely an eight or ninth grader to Chloe's fifth grade, and looked strong, for a non-supe of course.
"Pheebs, she looks like she could take out a high school quarter back." Max muttered.
"Shh, she might just be walking past." Phoebe tried.
Max sent her an incredulous look.
"Yeah, I know. Just be quiet."
"What are you still doing here, Blunderman?" The girl asked.
Chloe's entire posture deflates, as she meekly glanced up at the older girl. "Oh, hey Nicole...."
"Don't 'hey Nicole', me, Blunderman." The girl-Nicole- sneered. "I told you, you aren't wanted here. Get out of the town, get out of the state, I don't care where you go, I want you out! The last thing we need is another wanna be hero messing up our town."
Chloe deflated more if that was possible. "My family doesn't mess up the town!"
"Right, so we were attacked by Dark Mayhem for no reason, the V-Team just conveniently chose Hiddenville to attack and the crazy sugar girl, Candy what-ever-her-name-was, randomly picked our town? It had nothing to do with you or your weird family?" Nicole scoffed. "Yeah, sure."
