I know this is a bit overused, but I've been reading some Meet Percabeth stories and gosh, they are good despite the idea being common among us Percabeth shippers. Anyway, here's the chapter.

My name is Alice Treddle, but I'm assuming you already know that. I'm pretty popular at my school, Goode High, (that's the name right?) but not the queen bee or anything. I'm well known because I'm on the girls swim team, the girls basketball team, and the softball team. I'm also best friends with Percy Jackson. He's very popular.

Percy has great looks, with his messy raven black hair and amazing sea green eyes. Before meeting him, I didn't even know sea green was an eye color. Percy has amazingly tanned skin, and oddly enough, scars on his arms and legs. He is also very fit.

If you couldn't tell, I am head over heels in love with Percy Jackson. We're really close, so I have reason to believe that he likes me too. And I think he has good reason to like me. I'm very pretty with my athletic build, deep brown skin, honey brown eyes, and midnight black hair.

I decided to tell Percy that I like him tonight at prom. As far as I know, we are both going solo. I rejected everyone who asked me and so did Percy. My excuse was that I wasn't interested. Percy said that he had a girlfriend which discouraged me a bit. But nobody has ever seen her and the way he describes her makes her seem like a goddess, so it seems like she doesn't exist.

"Hey, Percy!" I called out, grinning at him as last period ended and I met up with him by our lockers.

"Oh, hey Alice. Excited for prom tonight?" He asked.

"Yeah! You?" I asked, grinning as I thought of our future together.

"Very. Some of my friends from my summer camp are transferring here, and their first day is tomorrow. The principal said they could go to prom for free without tickets since they start tomorrow anyways." Percy told me.

"Ooh, sounds great. I can't wait to meet them all. What are their names again?" I said, trying to recall the many names.

"Annabeth, Grover, Thalia, Nico, Will, Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel, Frank, and Calypso." Percy listed.

"Wow, so many of them." I commented, desperate to keep the names straight.

If I was to date Percy, I would have to be friends with his friends, so that he wouldn't have to drop them for me.

"Yeah, their just the ones transferring. I have more friends at the camp. Maybe one day you'll meet them all." Percy said, wistfully.

"Maybe." I agreed.

When I got ready that night, I made sure I looked my best. My hair was curled. I wore makeup. My dress was very flattering, while still appropriate. I wore nail polish. I looked drop dead gorgeous. Percy would never be able to turn me down.

It was time to tell my man that I loved him.

I walked into prom, smiling ear to ear as I looked for Percy.

I found him standing by a ton of other teens I didn't know, laughing and chatting.

"Hey Perce." I said smoothly, as I walked up to him.

"Oh, hey Alice! Guys this is my friend Alice, you'll be getting to know her better while you're attending. Alice, this is Annabeth, Grover, Thalia, Nico, Will, Jason, Piper, Leo, Calypso, Hazel, and Frank, my friends from camp."

I looked over the boys. They had athletic builds like Percy, and had similar tans, but Percy was my type. The girls were pretty, but the girl who looked like a typical Cally girl is the one that made me self conscious.
