So, I started writing this while writing the last Olympian family oneshot above it, which may or may not explain the length of it and why it took so long to write. But I've been in my Miraculous phase for the past week or so, and I decided to write this because I had nothing better to do for all the stories in my head. Expect a few of these, I have a lot of ideas for no apparent reason.

Plagg was the Kwami of Destruction. Tikki was the Kwami of Creation. Yin and Yang. Light and Dark. Life and Death. Two halves of a whole.

Plagg would be lying if he said he didn't love Tikki, if he said he didn't live for her. (Not that he had a choice, immortality and all.) Plagg knew Tikki loved him too. Since the dawn of time, they had been together. They were the firsts to walk the newborn Earth. They would one day be the last to leave the dying Earth.

Tikki and Plagg. Plagg and Tikki. Creation and Destruction. Destruction and Creation.

.........................................

The first holders of the ladybug miraculous and the black cat miraculous. Enkidu and Gilgamesh. Some of the strongest men alive.

Gilgamesh was the chosen of Plagg. Plagg regretted it deeply. Because in front of him, was the dying form of Tikki's chosen.

"Claws in!" Gilgamesh had cried out.

Plagg had been spit out of his ring. The tiny god of destruction was dazed but he recovered quickly when he saw the blood on a spotted costume.

"S-spots...off." The dying man rasped.

Tikki, Plagg's beloved Tikki, was tossed out of the earrings, thrown to the ground. The goddess sat up instantly, crying out her chosen's  name.

Gilgamesh was mourning his best friend as Tikki turned to Plagg.

"He'll be gone, won't he?"

Plagg sighed and nodded mutely. "I'm sorry, Tikki."

"It's not your fault."

That was a lie. It was. If Plagg had not bonded with Gilgamesh, Endiku would not be dying. Tikki would not lose her chosen.

"It's okay, Plagg. I don't blame you." Tikki murmured.

You should, Plagg wanted to say. But that would be selfish. Plagg shouldn't make Tikki comfort him when her chosen was the one dying. So he remained silent.

Plagg noticed one of the guardians appear, ready to collect Tikki. He gave a soft hiss at the man, but could do nothing. Plagg, the god of destruction, could do nothing but watch, watch as Tikki, his beloved goddess of creation, was sucked back into the earrings as they were removed from her dead chosen.

She would return to the miracle box. He would not. Not until Gilgamesh was dead or proven unworthy of a miraculous. Plagg would likely not see Tikki until they both had new holders. Because he doubted the guardians liked Tikki enough to make up for the fact that they loathed him.

...............................

"Hippolyta. There's more coming!" Tikki warned.

Plagg hovered beside her. His chosen, the right hand of the Amazon Queen had ordered him to remain silent. So he did.

"Tikki, spots on."
