"A date with Scott McCall...nicely done, Allison,"
The brunette laughed at Josie's comment, bumping her hip with hers as the pair made their way down the hallways of Beacon Hills High School together toward their next class.
"I'm surprised he finally got the nerve to ask me, to be honest," Allison confided in her as they walked. "Sometimes its hard to get a full read on him."
"I think you just make him incredibly nervous," Josie tried to reason with her friend. "Trust me, when my older sister had first started dating her future fiancé, Wesley, he was always a nervous wreck. Some of that might've had to do with being terrified of my dad, too, but he was so whipped from day one she always made him nervous."
Allison looked over, smiling sadly as she watched Josie talk about her older sister.
"She sounds like a pretty cool sister to have," the red head nodded in agreement with a tiny grin. "You don't have to tell me the full story now, but just know that I...do know some of it. My dad might've gotten curious after the lacrosse game the other night and looked up the newspaper articles."
"Truly, I'm surprised it took this long for someone to," both girls laughed as Josie grabbed onto Allison's forearm, squeezing it lightly. "Its okay, really. I'll tell you whatever you want to know just...not in the middle of the school hallway. Not a great place for a panic attack."
They shared smiles again as they rounded one of the corners of the hallways, both girls letting out almost simultaneous yelps as they collided with the bodies of Scott and Stiles turning the corner in the opposite direction.
"You scared the hell out of me!" Allison laughed, holding her chest to calm her heartrate as Scott stared at her as if he had just seen the sun for the first time.
"Allison! You're okay..."
"Can you and I stop meeting in hallways and doorways like this?" Josie whispered to Stiles, grabbing his arm for support as the pair simply laughed at one another, Stiles rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Sorry, I...swear I'm not trying to give you a concussion,"
"You're probably going to give me a heart attack before anything else," she glanced at Scott and Allison, seeing as they were locked in some adorable staring contest with one another, and dragged Stiles like half a step away, lowering her voice into a whisper. "Hey...so you and Scott and friends with Derek Hale, right?"
"D-Derek Hale?" Stiles almost choked on the name the second she whispered it. "I, uh, I mean we know him but I wouldn't say we were friends with him- I'm sorry, Josie how do you know him?"
"That's the thing, I don't. I think he knows me, because he showed up at the game the other night and gave me condolences about my family," Stiles eyes grew as wide as damn saucers as Josie just nodded her head. "Yeah not the weirdest part, apparently my father was a family friend of his family."
