"So you have no idea why she was screaming the other night at the ice rink?"

The hallways of Beacon Hills High School weren't as crowded as they typically were between classes, most students already filing off to lunch together. Josephine walked beside Allison down the hallways in the direction of the cafeteria, just having dropped their books at their own lockers.

"No, and I tried to subtly ask Lydia about it the other night without giving away the whole supernatural aspect, and she has no idea why she screamed either," she explained to her brunette friend as they walked in pace beside one another. "Honestly, I think Lydia screaming randomly is probably at the bottom of our priority list as of now."

"Maybe, but it still brings up the question on if you want to...tell Lydia about all this,"

The deeper her group of friends seemed to go into the world of the supernatural, and the more Josephine learned every single day about the power that coursed through her own bloodline, the more she thought about that question. Was she really keeping Lydia safe by not telling her anything, or would it be safer if her cousin understood everything that was going on around her?

"Right now, I feel like she's safer not knowing," Josie's eyes caught on a sight down the hall as she spoke, stopping in her tracks and dragging Allison to a stop with her. "Right now, we need to focus on our increasing werewolf problem."

Down the hall, Scott had been cornered against a row of lockers by none other than Erica Reyes and her brand new makeover, courtesy of Derek Hale and his bite. Even from across the entire hallway the smirk on the girl's lips was clear as day as Scott took a look down the hallway, locking eyes with Josie and Allison for a moment before directly his attention back to Erica.

Allison pursed her lips, quickly grabbing onto Josie's arm and simply tugging her back down the hallway, not wanting to stick around for another second of what was happening down the hall. Josie let out a sigh, grabbing onto Allison's hand for a brief moment with a squeeze.

"You don't need to comfort me, Scott can do whatever he wants-"

"Allison, we both know the only thing he wants to do is you," laughter was shared between the pair as they continued on toward the lunch room. "This whole thing is getting more and more insane. I thought this would end with Peter Hale's death, but Derek decided an army of teenagers would be a good idea."

"Not to mention the giant lizard thing," Allison mumbled back to her, taking a quick glance around the hallway around them to make sure no one could hear her. "Between Derek, my grandfather...it feels like everyone is taking sides and we're going to end up caught in the crossfire."

The pair came to a stop in front of the lunchroom, both seeing their spastic friend down the hallway waving toward them and he tried not to trip over his own two feet. Josie laughed, shaking her head at his antics, and gave Allison a comforting smile.
