Josie ran down the hallways next to Stiles, Scott leading the way with Stiles phone pressed to his ear as he spoke to Allison, attempting to pinpoint her location in the school and get them together.
"Does Allison know about any of this?" the red head quickly asked Stiles as they rounded a corner toward the main lobby.
"As far as we're aware, no, but it's a little complicated," he sent her an awkward and apologetic smile for a half second. "You're...kind of the only person we've told."
"You haven't exactly told me much,"
"I promise when we get out of this alive I'm going to tell you everything,"
They burst through the doors to the main lobby, coming to a stop as they met Allison in the middle the brunette put her phone away, looking between the three in front of her incredulously.
"Why did you come? What are you doing here?" Scott questioned her, grabbing her arm gently.
"Because you asked me to?" given the confused look on his face, Allison held up her phone much like Josie had not so long ago, showing him a text eerily similar to the one she'd gotten from Stiles. "Why do I get the feeling you didn't send this message?"
"Because he didn't," Josie chimed in, looking at her friend. "I got one just like it, but they didn't send it to me."
"Did you drive here?" Stiles chimed in as Allison shook her head.
"Jackson did,"
Josie breath caught her in throat as Stiles immediately looked to her with wide eyes in the same realization.
"Wait, Jackson's here?" Josie finally managed to get out. "And- and Lydia?"
"Yes, now what's going on? Who sent this text?"
The doors across the room burst open as Lydia and Jackson came running through. The Martin girl shook her head, obviously annoyed with the entire idea of being in the school in that moment at all.
"Finally! Can we go now?" Lydia glanced over at her cousin and tilted her head. "This is why you wanted my car tonight?"
No one got a chance to answer or speak again as the thudding in the ceiling returned. Scott, Stiles and Josie stiffened as they realized what it was. Both Stiles and Josie reached out for one another at the same time, hands linking together as Scott softly grabbed onto Allison, the trio ready to drag the other three out of the room immediately.
"Run!"
The six didn't hesitate, bolting up the stairs together just as the ceiling crashed down behind him, another roar echoing through the empty school hallways. Josie didn't dare look back, gripping onto Stiles as they followed behind Scott and Allison, Lydia and Jackson directly behind them.
The sound of the alpha's heavy thudding on the floor didn't let up. An exit was just in sight, but Scott seemed to realize that there was no way the six of them would make it there safely. They made a turn into the school cafeteria, slamming the door shut behind them.
