"Where'd you get the athleticism from in our genes? Because I think you took the portion that was allotted to me!"

"Where'd you get the athleticism from in our genes? Because I think you took the portion that was allotted to me!"

"I grew up playing sports, Lyds, you didn't!"

Lydia Martin sent her cousin a scowl, barely having made it halfway up the rock wall set up in the gym. She paused, taking in a deep breath as some of the students waiting for their turn at the bottom laughed at the exchange, before she began moving up the wall again to try and catch up to her cousin.

Josephine Cohen, though, was already just a few footrests away from the top. She rang the little bell at the top with ease, rolling her eyes as the chants from Stiles, Scott and Allison below. She propelled her way back down the wall on the rope, landing beside Lydia as her cousin sent her a playful glare.

"You! Cohen!"

Josie turned, eyeing Coach as she began to undo the restraints that were keeping her safe on the wall.

"Yes Coach?"

"Impressive work, might be the fastest time I've seen this week," he told her, glancing down at the clipboard in his hands. "You played sports?"

"Soccer up until middle school, Coach, then I went into theater-"

"So no current extra curriculars?"

"Still kind of new to school, so, no-"

"Alright good, you're on the cross country team now. Argent, McCall, get up there!"

The red head's mouth was dropped open as Scott and Allison approached her and Lydia, taking their belts and ropes from them as the girl let out a little whine, dropping her forehead onto Scott's shoulder for half a second.

"But I hate running!"

Scott simply shouldered her head off him with a laugh, strapping himself into the wall so that he could follow Allison up it.

Making her way back into the crowd of students, Josie found herself slotted to Stiles side easily, the pair watching as Scott and Allison climbed the rock wall both with a practiced ease. She leaned over toward her friend, lowering her voice so that no one else could hear their conversation.

"Allison was telling me about what happened at the house the other night. The thing had a tail?"

"That's what Scott was telling me, too. No clue what is is, though, that's the problem," Stiles muttered back to her quickly before cheering on Scott to try and beat Allison up the wall.

The conversation died down as their friends were climbing the wall, and Josie simply took the moment to relax and NOT think about the supernatural that had invaded every sense of her life.

From beside her, the red head could almost feel the girl next to her shaking, taking a quick glance over. Her blonde hair was slightly unruly, her arms wrapped around her own body as she seemed terrified of the rock wall before them.
