"I'm going to kill him, you know?"

"Jo, I literally don't think there's a single person that would object to that. Me included,"

Stiles led Josephine through his house and up the stairs toward his bedroom door, the girl having spent the majority of the car ride to his house after school ranting about how 'Jackson Whittemore is a douche', which he wholeheartedly agreed with, following his text message break-up with Lydia in the middle of the school day.

"Do you really need my help with whatever your plan is?" Josie questioned her friend as they entered his bedroom, smiling lightly as she looked around and noticed the Star Wars posters and more littering the walls. "I feel bad having left her alone at home given Jackson's dumbass mistake."

"Hey, you're the one who wanted to be involved! It's all hands on deck to figure this shit out okay, so we need to-"

The red head tuned out Stiles ranting for a second, realizing that he was about to go off on some tangent with no real end in sight. She threw her bag down on his bed, admiring the room and just how 'Stiles' it really was before her eyes widened, locking eyes with Derek who was just standing in the corner watching her.

"Uh, Stiles?"

"-stopping the alpha is the only chance we have at stopping these murders and maybe even getting Scott a cure-"

"Stiles, could you please-"

"-maybe even after the game, you know if I don't totally suck, maybe you'd be up for that movie marathon we keep mentioning-"

"Hey, Stiles?"

Josie eyes widened, as this time it was Stiles father out in the hallway trying to grab his attention. At least it worked, the boy finally turning around to look at Josie first.

"Yo, Da- Derek?"

The two teens looked at one another, wide eyed at Stiles slip up, and Derek looked ready to kill someone. Both barely thinking, Josie and Stiles both rushed over to the door of Stiles room, smiling awkwardly out at the Sheriff as they tried to keep Derek concealed behind the door.

Sheriff Stilinski looked between the two of them curiously for a second, not even realizing the girl was here. He sighed, shaking his head and carrying on with the reason why he'd come upstairs in the first place.

"Listen, I've got something I've got to take care of, but I'm gonna be there tonight. I mean, your first game!"

Stiles nodded awkwardly, giving his dad a shaky smile as him and Josie locked eyes for a second, hoping to god that Derek just stayed where he was.

"My first game... Guh, it's great! Awesome. Uh, good!"

The Sheriff smile again, looking from his son down to Josie as his smile grew a little bit.
