"Chris Evans is so hot,"
"To be fair, Lyds, you are NOT wrong," Josie shook her head, walking past the living room and grabbing some of the popcorn from Lydia's bowl and quickly shoving it in her mouth, moving past the TV into the dining room. "He is pretty hot."
"A nice ass, too, can't go wrong with a man with an ass,"
"Ah, staring at Chris Evans ass, that's why you of all people are watching Captain America," the red head shook her head over her cousin in the living room, packing her books on the table top into her backpack to ensure she was ready for school the following day. "I'm heading to bed soon, you staying up?"
"Probably for a little while longer," Lydia looked over at her cousin, gesturing to the couch next to her. "Care to join me? Could always turn on The Notebook and admire Ryan Gosling instead."
Josie smiled at her cousin, ready to accept the offer even though she was quite ready for a good night of sleep, until the doorbell of the Martin household sounded out, echoing through the rooms. She sighed, moving back into the main hallway to get the door while Lydia turned her attention back to the TV before her.
The last thing that Josie expected to see when she opened the door was Stiles and Scott, looking at her with sheepish smiles on their faces. They were both practically bouncing on their heels in anticipation, and Josie looked less than impressed with the pair.
"You know, I was really excited to get a full night's sleep,"
"To be fair, you're the one who wanted to get involved in all this with us," Stiles shot back, shrinking under the unimpressed look from the girl. "Yeah, shutting up now."
"Kind of imperative that we get going," Scott quickly cut in, the nerves practically rolling off the teenage werewolf. "Like, we REALLY need to get going."
"Do I get an explanation before agreeing? Are we doing something borderline illegal?" The boys looked at one another, saying nothing but simply stepping out of the way. Josie looked between them, staring out at her own driveway as she took in a deep breath, closing her eyes as she tried to control herself. "Do I even want to know why you two are driving Derek's car?"
"Like we said...we've really got to go,"
Josie contemplated her life choices for a moment, poking her head back into the house quickly.
"Lyds? It's Scott and Stiles. We forgot about a project, we're going to go finish it up real quick,"
"Have fun with your dorks! Don't do anything I wouldn't do!"
"That list gets smaller every day," Josie mumbled to herself, closing the door behind her as she looked between her idiot friends. Her eyes stopped on Stiles for a second and the baseball cap on his head, reaching up and grabbing it from his head, flipping it around so it sat on his head backward, trying to ignore the flush in her own cheeks at her own actions. "Cute, you should wear these more often. Let's go, dumbasses."
