It felt as if before Stiles even had the Jeep fully parked in the parking lot of Beacon Hills High School he was out of his door, rushing around to Josephine's side to open the door for her before she had a chance to do it himself. He took a quick second before opening it to give himself a pep talk under his breath, swearing that he could do this, and check his suit jacket.

Josie gratefully took hold of Stiles hand, hopping down out of the Jeep as she quickly adjusted her hair and her dress, shivering slightly at the cold chill in the air that late winter brought to Beacon Hills.

She turned to watch Stiles for a moment, giggling as she noticed him fiddling with his tie that had come partially undone. Taking his hands to stop his spastic movements, Josie instead took hold of the tie and began retying it for him. Stiles eyes watched her the entire time, his heart beating erratically as he hoped she could've feel it beating beneath his dress shirt.

"I misspoke, at your house..." his voice was low as he spoke, all of his attention still trained on the red head as the bustling parking lot of teenagers faded into nothing for him. "Well, I mean, I wasn't wrong per say, but it's...it's not what I meant to say. You just...you look really beautiful, Jo."

"Well, Stiles," Josie bit her bottom lip, trying to conceal her own grin that was breaking through as she tightened the tie against his neck, finishing it off as she finally looked up at him. "You look very handsome as well. You clean up well."

"So I'm only handsome when I get dressed up is what I'm hearing,"

"Don't go putting words in my mouth, Stilinski, because I definitely never said that,"

The clearing of a throat behind them had Stiles and Josie taking a step away from one another, matching smiles still adorning their lips. Allison stood beside Jackson, the pair seeming to be trying to ignore one another as Allison quickly pulled Josie into a tight hug.

"You look so good! Oh my god, blue might really be your color,"

"Like you're one to talk, this dress looks so good on you Ali!" The red head laughed, looking over Allison's dress before looking at Jackson and giving him a short nod. "Jackson...nice to see you."

"Yeah, feeling is mutual,"

Both girls rolled their eyes as Lydia suddenly walked up on the ground, pulling both of the girls into tight hugs while Jackson and Stiles stood back awkwardly.

"Oh my beautiful girls! Stunning, I'm glad you both followed my hair and makeup advice," Josie glanced behind her cousin, spotting her date still locking up his card and hurrying to catch up with them. Lydia's gaze landed on Jackson as she tried to maintain her composure. "Jackson...you look handsome."

"Obviously. It's Hugo Boss," everyone standing around the cars in that moment were ready to wipe that smug smile straight off his face.

Jackson took the lull in conversation as a chance to grab onto Allison and pull her off into the dance, leaving Lydia standing beside her cousin and Stiles as she stared after them, fuming.
