Stiles and Scott laughed together as they exited the school, high-fiving as their completely dumb and 'definitely shouldn't have worked' plan actually had the potential for working out...for once.
"Got to tell you, Scott, I didn't know you had it in you!" Stiles patted him on the back, waving his hand holding the flashlight around. "Now THAT was a howl!"
"I didn't know I had it in me either. But you know what I didn't expect?" Stiles raised a questioning eyebrow at his best friend as Scott smirked, punching him lightly on the arm. "You to actually grow a pair and talk to Josie!"
"Dude, I don't even understand how I've managed this!" Scott couldn't help but laugh at his best friend as he threw his arms out spastically as he talked, a grin stretched across his whole face. "She's my friend! Not my girlfriend, but my friend and honestly that's more than I ever thought I'd get. I don't even know what I did to get THIS far-"
"I'm going to kill both of you!"
Stiles rolled his eyes as Scott awkwardly rubbed the back of the neck as they made it back to Stiles's Jeep, Derek glaring at the two boys as they got closer and stopped in front of him.
"Come on-"
"What the hell was that!" Derek continued, not giving either of them a chance to speak. "What are you trying to do, attract the entire state to the school?"
"I didn't realize it would be that loud..." Scott trailed off as Stiles laughed, patting his friend on the shoulder again.
"Oh yeah, it was loud...and it was AWESOME!" Derek scoffed again, causing another eye roll from the spastic boy. "Oh come on, don't be such a sour wolf!"
The sound of a car caught the attention of both Derek and Scott as they turned, noticing a dark blue car park just a few spots from where they currently were. All three guys gave one another looks as the door opened, Stiles eyes almost popping out of his head as as Josie stepped out of the car and hurriedly walked toward them.
"Stiles?" She called out, just feet from her two friends who looked absolutely shell shocked to see her. She stopped in front of the boys, looking between them with a confused look. "What the hell are you doing at the school this late?"
"Us? What are you doing here this late?" Scott chimed in as Stiles shook his head frantically, hands grabbing onto Josie's forearms as he gripped her tight.
"Jo, you can NOT be here right now, you need to leave! What- what are you even doing at the school this late?"
"Because you asked me to come?" Scott immediately shot Stiles a look, but the Stilinski boy looked absolutely dumbfounded. Josie took her arms out of his hands, grabbing her phone and showing the boys the text she'd gotten. "You told me to meet you two here, you said it was urgent."
"She can NOT be here right now," Josie's eyes shot over to Derek as he spoke, widening slightly as she noticed him standing there. His glare was hard on the two boys as he pointed at her. "Do not mix her up in this."
