In the headteacher's office, tension crackled in the air as Mr Wilson sat sternly behind his desk, flanked by Mr Reed, who stood with an air of authority beside him. Victoria and Sarah sat opposite each other, their gazes locked in a silent battle, each daring the other to make the first move.

'Now, can someone please tell me what happened here?' Mr Wilson's voice cut through the silence, his tone firm and commanding.

Sarah wasted no time in pointing out an accusatory finger at Victoria. 'She stole my boyfriend.' she spat out, her voice dripping with venom.

Mr Reed couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the absurdity of Sarah's accusations. He shot a glance at Mr Wilson, silently conveying his disbelief.

'And what evidence do you have to support that claim?' Mr Reed interjected, his voice cool and composed.

Sarah bristled at the challenge, her eyes narrowing with suspicion. 'I can just sense it.' she replied defiantly, her tone defensive.

Victoria couldn't help but roll her eyes at Sarah's flimsy justification. 'That's ridiculous.' she retorted, her voice tinged with frustration. 'Don't make me do a round two on you.'

'Girls please.' Mr Reed looks at me, and turns to the side to let out a little chuckle.

'Mr Reed, please. Composure.' Mr Wilson looks at Mr Reed.

'Sorry.' Mr Reed covers his mouth.

Sarah scoffed, her lips curling into a sneer. 'Oh please, like I'm going to believe anything you say.' she shot back, her tone dripping with disdain.

'If I sit up from this chair and rip all your hair out, you'll regret even letting me pop up into your brain.' Victoria stands up and taps the table.

Mr Reed's patience was wearing thin as he watched the exchange between the two girls. He stepped forward, pinning Victoria's hand to the table, his voice firm as he addressed Sarah directly. 'That's enough, Sarah.' he said, his tone leaving no room for argument. 'Baseless accusations have no place in this school.'

Sarah's eyes widened in surprise at Mr Reed's directness, but before she could respond, Mr Wilson spoke up. 'I concur.' he said, his voice echoing with authority. 'This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated.'

With a heavy sigh, Mr Wilson turned to Sarah. 'I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave.' he said, his tone regretful but firm. 'I'll escort you to another teacher who will call your parents to come and collect you.'

Sarah's face flushed with anger at the mention of being expelled, but she knew better than to argue. With a muttered curse, she stood up and followed Mr Wilson out of the office, leaving Victoria and Mr Reed alone.

'Why have you done this?' Mr Reed asks.

'What?' Victoria asks surprised.
