Two months had passed since the summer began, and the golden sun shone brightly over everything. Victoria and Alec's relationship had only grown stronger, but their way of showing affection was unique. Through playful banter and pretending to hate each other. They spent their days filled with laughter, love, and new memories.

The sunlight streamed through the bedroom window, casting a warm glow over Alec and Victoria. They were tangled in the sheets, their bodies pressed close together. Victoria stirred, her eyes fluttering open to find Alec watching her, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

'Morning, grumpy.' Alec teased, poking her side.

Victoria swatted his hand away, groaning. 'Ugh, do you have to be so annoying first thing in the morning?'

'Annoying? I think you mean charming.' Alec said, grinning.

Victoria rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile. 'Charming, right. More like a pest.'

'Oh shush.' Alec playfully smacked her head. 'You love me.' he kissed her gently.

Victoria sighed, pretending to be exasperated. 'I guess I do. But only a little.'

'Liar.' Alec whispered, pulling her closer.

Alec and Victoria sat at the dining table with Charlotte, Sophia, and Charlotte's new boyfriend, Greg. The atmosphere was warm and lively, filled with the sounds of clinking cutlery and laughter.

'So, Alec.' Greg began, looking at him with a twinkle in his eye. 'How's work going?'

'Busy, but good.' Alec replied. 'At least it's not as stressful as dealing with this one.' he playfully nudged Victoria.

Victoria kicked him under the table. 'You love dealing with me. Admit it.'

Alec winced, rubbing his shin. 'Yeah, like a cat loves water.'

Sophia laughed, nearly choking on her drink. 'You guys are ridiculous.'

Charlotte watched the interaction with a small smile. 'I never thought you guys would get along this well.'

'Getting along? I'm just waiting for the perfect moment to escape.' Alec said with a wink.

Victoria pretended to be offended. 'You wish. You're stuck with me now.'

'And what a terrible fate it is.' Alec said, nudging her slightly.

The beach was the perfect escape from the summer heat. Alec and Victoria set up their towels on the sand, the sound of waves crashing soothing their minds.

Victoria ran in the water, her laughter echoing as she splashed around. Alec followed, catching her around the waist and lifting her out of the water.

'Alec! Put me down!' she squealed, laughing.

'Not until you admit that I'm the best boyfriend ever.' he teased.

'Never!' she shouted, still laughing.

Alec set her down gently, and she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him into a kiss. 'Fine. You're the best. Happy?'

'Very.' Alec said, smiling against her lips.

The moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow on Victoria and Alec. They were in Alec's bedroom, the air thick with anticipation and desire.

Alec's hands roamed over Victoria's body, his touch igniting a fire within her. She pulled him closer, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss. The heat between them was undeniable, their need for each other palpable.

'Alec.' Victoria whispered, her voice husky with desire. 'I need you.'

'I'm right here.' Alec murmured, his lips trailing down her neck. 'Always.'

They moved together in a rhythm only they knew, their bodies communicating a language of love and intimacy. Every touch, every kiss was a promise, a declaration of their unending love.

Victoria, Alec, and Sophia were in the backyard, playing a game of badminton. The sun was shining, and the air was filled with the sounds of birds chirping and the occasional burst of laughter.

'Come on, Alec! You can do better than that!' Sophia taunted, hitting the shuttlecock over the net.

Alec laughed, diving to make a save. 'I'm trying, but you're too good.'

Victoria watched them with a smile, enjoying the playful banter. It warmed her heart to see how well Alec fit into her family.

Charlotte came out with a tray of lemonade, her face relaxed and content. 'Taking a break, anyone?'

'Definitely!' Sophia said, running over to grab a glass.

Alec and Victoria followed, taking their drinks and sitting down together. Alec put an arm around Victoria, pulling her close.

'This is actually really good.' Alec said, taking a sip of his lemonade.

'It really is. Very refreshing.' Victoria nodded, her head resting on his shoulder.

Charlotte smiled at the sight of her daughters and Alec, feeling a sense of peace she hadn't felt in a long time. 'You know, Alec, you've really become part of the family.'

Alec looked at her, his eyes sincere. 'Thank you, Charlotte. That means a lot to me.'

Greg joined them, tapping Alec on the back. 'Welcome to the family, son.'

Alec grinned, feeling truly accepted and at home. 'Thanks, Greg.'
