Thankfully, Gabby had made up with Fatboy and they were able to work around last week's events - after all they did have a birthday party coming up. Gabby and Fatboy were in the living room, their little ones crawling and playing around them. Fatboy picked up Matty and gave him a tender smile, his eyes twinkling. "Can't believe Connie's turning 3 soon. Growing up way too fast!" he exclaimed, ruffling the toddler's hair playfully.

"I know right?" Gabby chuckled, her gaze fixed on Connie, who was now giggling happily. "Seems like just yesterday she was a tiny baby in my arms...now look at her, all grown up!" She ruffled Connie's hair affectionately, her eyes filled with a mixture of nostalgia and pride.

"Time flies when you're having fun," Fatboy grinned, gently kissing Matty's forehead. "I reckon we're doing something special for her birthday, yeah?" He playfully bounced Matty in his arms, eliciting another adorable giggle from the little tot.

"of course we are!" Gabby nodded along, looking over at Connie as she began to draw peacefully. "Gonna have just the family though, yeah?" Gabby stammered, groaning slightly as she got up from the sofa.

Fatboy nodded, his gaze fixed on Matty, who was now attempting to grab Fatboy's hair. "Yeah, sounds perfect. Keep it small and intimate, just close family. We can make it a real special day for
Connie," he agreed, gently pulling his hair away from Matty's grasp.

Gabby giggled and picked up Matty from Fatboy's arms, placing him on her hip. "look, Kat's just messaged me...Jeans leaving?" Gabby stammered, looking down at her phone in shock.

"Jeans leaving...?" Fatboy spoke in shock, clearly in disbelief. "She leaving because of that Ollie guy?" Fatboy stood up, tilting his head.

"She's leaving with that Ollie guy" she chuckled slightly, a smile forming on her face. "I'm gonna go say goodbye..." Gabby choked as she began to run out of the flat, noticing that Jean and Kat were now outside talking. "Jean!" Gabby called out, holding Matty in her arms. "Jean, wait!" Gabby yelled.

Upon hearing Gabby's call, Jean paused and turned around, her attention shifting from Kat to her friend. A bittersweet smile appeared on her face, and she walked over to Gabby, her hands in the pockets of her jacket. "Hey, Gabs..." she greeted, her voice tinged with a hint of melancholy.

"We're gonna miss you" Gabby smiled softly, hugging Jean as she attempted to not cry. "Like, we're gonna miss you loads...I know we haven't really been talking cos I've been so busy with this one" she chuckles, pointing at Matty. "But promise to send me a postcard, yeah?"

Jean's eyes shimmered as she hugged Gabby back, her own emotions bubbling to the surface. "I promise the most fabulous, colorful, and glittery ones," she managed to say through tears, managing a weak chuckle.

As Jean got in the car, Gabby stood next to Kat, leaning her head on her shoulder.  "goodbye, Walford!" Jean called out, waving to all of them, a small smirk rising on Gabby's face.

As Jean drove away, leaving behind the familiar streets of Walford, Gabby couldn't help but feel a mix of sadness and nostalgia. Kat wrapped her arms around Gabby, offering a comforting embrace. "She'll be missed," Kat said softly, her gaze following the departing car.

"Yeah..." Alfie chimed in, looking down at little Matty in Gabby's arms. "At least we have Matty and Connie, hey?" he joked, holding his hand out towards Matty, who clasped one finger with his tiny hand.

"Yeah," Alfie agreed, a fond smile spreading on his face as he looked at Matty's grasp on his finger. "They're our little rays of sunshine, keeping us grounded and reminding us what's truly important. Jean might be gone, but we've got our own special blessings right here in our arms."

"Yeah..." Gabby agreed, fixing Matty's position on her hip. "I'm gonna get him inside, he needs a feed..." she smiles, bouncing the 5-month-old in her arms. "I'll see yous later, yeah?"

The group nodded their understanding, bidding each other farewell for the moment. Gabrielle made her way back into the flat, cradling her infant son against her chest. As she settled him in and prepared to feed him, her mind wandered to the memories of Jean and the bittersweet moment of her departure.

Gabby made her way into the Vic, Matty in the pram while Connie walked hand in hand with her. she flashed Alfie a big smile and stood at the bar. "Alright, Alfie?" Gabby smirked, tilting her head.

Alfie raised an eyebrow, returning Gabby's smile with a friendly grin. "Hey, Gabby! Always a pleasure to see you and the little ones." He leaned on the bar, giving the wriggling Connie a playful wave. "What can I get for ya today?"

"Look after these two?" she asked politely, folding her arms. "Fatboy's gone to work, and mums gone down to Brighton with Keith to help Jean..." she spoke, rolling her eyes.

Alfie chuckled, nodding understandingly. "Ah, got it. No worries, happy to look after your pair of munchkins for a bit," he agreed, stepping out from behind the bar and making his way over to the pram.

"Gotta get her birthday presents..." Gabby sighed, placing a hand on her hip. "Without her seeing it all.." she chuckles.

"Yeah, it's tough keeping surprises for little ones," Alfie chuckled, "but it's worth seeing their faces when they finally get to unwrap and enjoy their presents. Good luck on your secret shopping mission, Gabby!"

Gabby giggles before waving goodbye to Alfie and making her way out of the vic.

Gabby sighed as she looked up at the for sale sign on the house. She took a deep breath as she walked out of the front door, baby Matty in his pram sound asleep. "Fats are you sure we can afford this?" She stammers as she looks over at a grinning Fatboy.

"Course I do!" Fatboy chuckled, planting a kiss on her cheek. "Come on, we can make a life for ourselves here...Ongar is a really nice place." he reassured her, placing a hand around her shoulder. "you can have a hair business from home, I can probably do my DJ'ing?" he suggests, a smile on his face.

"maybe." Gabby smiles, showing a smirk. "How much did they say it was again?" she asks as she looks back at the house.

"I think £72,000." he shrugs, looking down at his phone. "Yeah, £72,000 if we want to buy." he smiles, showing her the phone.

"And do we have £72,000?" Gabby stammers as she picks up Matty from his pram and begins to bundle him inside of the car, strapping him into the seat. "It's a lot of money, Arthur."

"I've been saving up for a while." he admits, walking over to her and grabbing her hands. "so hopefully, the amount I've saved...and the money from your job, will make us able to move and raise Connie and Matty, and hopefully some more kids..." he added on, showing a smirk.

"Wait, you wanna have more kids?" she stammers, tilting her head as she furrows her brows. "Are you sure, isn't 2 enough?" she giggles, giving him a look of skepticism.

"and 2 more won't hurt, will they?" he suddenly grabs Gabby and pulls her into a kiss, squeezing her tightly. "I love you Gabrielle Vivienne Chubb, and I want to have a family with you."

Gabby giggles loudly, stifling a laugh from baby Matty. "Okay, okay!" she laughs softly as Fatboy finally lets go of her.

"Good." Fatboy nods before walking to the drivers seat. "Let's go back to Walford, huh? I'll contact the estate agent in the morning." he nods slowly, hopping inside the car, Gabby following after. "Here's to new life." he says with a grin.
