Everything completely silent outside. No one outside as everyone remains in their homes, having dinner, having chats. Chats anyone outside could hear. A car approaching a house. The driver stops in front of the gate.
Opening his right mirror, he approaches the speaker. The driver, short hair, shaven and white skin, wearing a black leather jacket.
"Who is this?"
"Bro it's me. Open it will ya."
Knowing who that familiar voice was, the resident opens the gate for him. The gate slowly opening, allowing the driver to drive his car past the gate. Parking his car near the door, not wanting to struggle in finding his car. Leaving the car, locking it with his car key.
He approaches the door. Ringing the doorbell. The resident of the house lives in a white big mansion. Enough to fit more than 20 people inside.
The front door opens. Revealing the person who lives and owns this mansion. "Michael." He responds happily.
"Hey Liam." They both hug each other. They haven't seen each other in a while. Ever since the pandemic happened. The two guys remained in contact through their mobile phones and facetime but a visit between the two has always been what Michael wanted.
"It's been so long how are you?" Liam asks.
"Not too bad man. Had a long drive just to get you."
"Ahh well I'm happy to provide some refreshing accommodation before you return home." Michael keeps his smile longer.
"More like to get away from it."
"Alright but you know your father will send out his troops to bring you back." They both laugh over the matter.
"Then let him. I don't care. Besides, he seems to prefer you the most." Liam knows it's incredibly true.
"Anyways, come in. Let me get you a drink." Michael appreciates it. Walking inside the house. Liam looks around outside. His expression the way he looks around, hoping no one sees him, or Michael.
Inside as the living room is deeply bright and shiny. A chandelier handling at the top of the room. A really big staircase to get to the rooms upstairs. It's impressive. More impressive than the mansion he lives in with his father. A powerful figure who created the rules everyone around the world must follow.
"Is it me or did this place went through many changes?" Finished locking the front door as he walks towards Michael.
"Well, not really... Okay maybe a bit ever since the pandemic started taking affect." Michael nods his head.
Liam walks to the kitchen. Well fashioned and fancy. "Other than some drinks, is there anything you want to eat or..."
"Nope, a drink is fine."
"Alright cool." Michael continues his tour around the mansion. Going into the other room, filled with a fireplace and a giant tv. Looking at the brand of the tv, the brand is already dead. Went bankrupt when the pandemic happened.
Liam, holding a tray of glasses of vodka martini, stops in his track, wanting to take a funny look at Michael, as he observes like a puppy, who just arrived in a home he has never been in. "Seems like you're already impressed with this room. Or are you just looking at our photos..."
Michael laughs. He's holding a photo of him and Liam when they were children. "I'm looking at our photos."
"Yeah you are. You always do that."
"I know I know." Liam puts the tray on the table, near the fireplace. Michael puts the photo back in display, joining him for a drink.
"What about the other friends you have hahaha? Like that girl, you always tell me about that girl Alyssa." Both men laugh over that matter.
