Having arrived in his office, wanting to know more about the missing girl through one of his employees who called him during his time with Liam.

Approaching his employee who has been waiting outside his office, he walks towards him. Now that he is near him, Benjamin wants to gain some information about the missing girl.

His employee was able to gain enough information about the missing girl. Revealing her name, Mary Summers. An 18 year old girl born with a Filipino mom and a British dad. Before she went missing, she earned a warning as a result of her trouble in helping the homeless woman. The situation caused one of their soldier to be hospitalised for injuries caused by the homeless woman's dog. The last person she came into contact to was John.

Mary being missing for two days was first reported when the inspector was just doing his usual 'house inspections'. The first thing that immediately felt off to him was the lack of responses and noise coming from inside the house. There was no need for him to break inside the house, until one of Mary's neighbours broke the door. Allowing him to go inside.

Breaking in did allow him to immediately become alarmed with Mary not being in her home. Another alarming factor was her phone, being left in her home.

Seeing Mary not in her home for who knows how long, he immediately reported the situation. Leading to a group of detectives to investigate the house. Trying to find evidence that may hopefully lead to her whereabouts. Took the detectives hours but there hasn't been any clues.

The only clues that has been given to them was her last phone call with John, along with a couple of messages and phone calls he has made to her but weren't answered.

Hearing all of this from his employee makes him feel overwhelmed for the moment. Sitting himself down, trying to think, having not seen this situation before. He has dealt with many situations but not like this.

Mary was even able to avoid detection from other people. He puts his hand on his face. Rubbing it gently like he has to deal with a terrible migraine.

"Is that all we have?" Becoming afraid in front of Mr Brown. But it seems to appear he has more information he has to let out.

"That's not all sir." Mr Brown looks at him but doesn't say a word in front of him.

"We've found out that one of our patrollers spotted her, heading into some kind of forest." Surprising Mr Brown. Confused over why she would throw herself into danger into the wilderness.

"Were you able to contact the patroller who has last seen her?" The employee nod his head. Benjamin's strictness and worry fades away quickly. He thanks him for providing the right amount of information needed, to provide to his son.

He could have asked other people to do the job, but after what happened to his son and how he ruined himself, as well as the family reputation. But it's not about the family reputation, it's about his son. He hopes to redeem his son by finding the woman and bring her home.
Remaining in his chair, trying to relax himself. Laying over the chair. Trying to think for a moment. Looking at his desk, seeing a photo, grabbing it. A picture of himself and his son when Michael was still a baby.

Benjamin may not have been there for his son for most of his life but whenever he tries to be there for him, he would do it for love, more than his work. These were the times his father would be there for him.

The only unfortunate part about this past is Michael's lack of memory of it. He never remembers the good things his father has done for him, as well as the regrets he has for the way he disciplined him. It's all he remembers as Michael, now in the car with Liam, looks at the window. The two of them choosing not to look at each other.
