Stopping within the parking zones, the car door opens, revealing Mary, Joseph and his family, all dressed in summer clothes. This is their one week half term break before they return to school two days before.

Joseph's parents grab something out of the bag. Sunscreen, an umbrella, a chair, and some towels to lay the chair on. They're planning to go sunbathing. Mary and Joseph aren't into sunbathing, they just like to go on the water with their shorts or dress as Mary is wearing a summer dress of her own.

They approach the beach, having passed by a Iron Man graffiti on a wall. The beach is beautiful, lots of people laying in the sand, children making sand castles, there are even horses in the beach, allowing anyone to ride the horses at a £1 price, 50p for children if they want to go on one that is more safer for them.

There are many places for the two of them to go around in. But wishing to get wet afterwards, they run to the arcades. In the far other side of the beach. Anyone could jump off the holding hand rail and swim in the waters. Wouldn't kill them.

Making it inside, in relief, their minds being blown away. They have never been to Western Super Mare ever. This is what they could have been doing during the summer holidays. They could stay for a week, a month, even a year. As long as they like.

"Let's go upstairs." Wishing to take a look everywhere. Wanting to see what the whole place looks like.

The building is massive. Lots of arcade games, some rides for them to go on, a go kart track too. Both excited, they run to the shop where they get a wristband to go on the rides, simulations or go kart track.

"Dude, how come we haven't seen this place before?"

"Ahh tell me about it." As they both wait in a huge queue, lots of people trying to get their wristbands, excited to go on the rides and everything. The same goes for the arcades. No need for some coins, scan their wristbands through a scanner and the game is all theirs.

The line wasn't a long wait. Everyone got their wristbands without waiting a lot longer for them to be delivered. "Hi, we would like two wristbands." The woman on the desk smiles at them. Getting their names if they want to play any of the arcade games that are around the area.
A quick process, she puts one wristband around Mary's wrist, the other on Joseph's. No help was needed, she got the wristbands right on the track.

"Have a good day!" She yells as they both leave the shop.

So many options and yet, they immediately go to their favourite, go kart. The matches for all racers last between five to seven minutes. Once they're done, they all have to go back to their starting positions for the next drivers.

Mary's excitement begins to overwhelm her, Joseph, also excited but keeping himself calm and not letting his heart beat fast. The two have a tendency in making every game, including board games, competitive, always wanting to see who will beat the other. Joseph is very good at board games, owing to having better intelligence. But Mary is better in sports or other practical activities. Seems like non practical stuff are his expertise.

The go kart drivers have recently finished their run. Mary and Joseph show their wristbands to the guy at front. Reaching to their go karts. The driver's seat is comfy.

All racers, including both of them, now in position. The race begins in three, two, one...
One by one, all racers leave their positions. Mary started in a second place position, Joseph in a fourth position. There are six drivers in the vehicle.

Mary was able to overtake the first place driver with ease. Joseph passed by a few drivers. Now only behind her. The match doesn't have a lot of laps.

Despite this, her confidence begins to get the best of her. Imagining herself able to be the victor between Joseph and herself. Unaware in their final lap, Joseph, taking advantage of Mary becoming distracted by her confidence, passes by her, just before they begin to take a turn.
He is the victor. For the first time, he won against his friend in a race. No complaints at all, she goes to him.
