In the winds of the forest, all alone but focused on the toys in his hands. Playing with both of them with his imagination as he imagines a big battle scenario in his head. Imitating voices for each of the toys, making one in his right hand the hero, the one is his left the villain.

It keeps him distracted from everything that's been happening throughout his life, including the area he is currently in.

"Connor!" A voice, coming from a man, calling him far away, attracting his attention. The boy is only 9 years old during this time.

"Coming dad." Leaving his toys where he last played them as he raises himself up and rushes to another tent where his dad is staying in.

Approaching inside, everything is all packed up. They're not going to be staying in this place for a lot longer. Needing another area within these woods to settle in. The boy becomes curious over why his father is doing this.

"Why are we leaving?" He looks at his son, trying not to panic in front of him, not wanting his son to feel worried over him.

"So that we can be far away from the bad people..." Still curious about it. He walks to him.

"Did the bad people find us?" He immediately denies it, not wanting the thought of the soldiers from CV-Brown organisation to hunt them down and bring them to the quarantine zones, a place he doesn't want his son to be in.

They've been in these woods for a few weeks now. Connor's mom wasn't able to make it with them. The last time he has seen her was when she told him and his dad to keep going while she hold those men off. That was the last thing he has seen from her but he wished his mother did come to him. He loves his dad but his dad keeps moving in different sites of the forest.

Mostly to get away from the soldiers, inspectors and the night patrollers. Something Connor doesn't know quite well of. He's still a little boy having just turned seven years old. He just wants Connor to live a normal life, without any of this corruption or rules they have to follow, even the children.

This is the second time they have left their campsite, not before he finished packing everything up, lighting up a fire before burning the entire tent coat into it, hiding evidence that someone might be there.

A squirrel passing by, noticing Connor's dad removing everything to hide evidence for any of the patrollers and soldiers to track them. Realising her friend is going away once again, she runs after him. Choosing to stay with Connor.

Hearing the squirrel make a sound on his feet, he looks down, seeing Melody down there. He picks her up, bringing out a nut from his pocket, letting her chew onto it. Chewing it really fast in a quick second.

"That's everything." Only to see Melody on his shoulder. Originally, he feels unsure about letting his son have a pet during their journey but after seeing how happy he was with Melody, he lets him keep it. "Are you two ready to go?" Connor responds back to him.

They leave the camp site, immediately disposing the fire as they walk ahead. He doesn't know where the next campsite might be in, as long as they're far away from anyone who works for Benjamin Brown.

The walk would go on for quite a while as Connor, due to his age, immediately starts to feel fatigued over the journey. He really wants his son to try get up, they still got a long way to go but his body couldn't hold up to him much longer.

Having walked for an hour and ten, he carries Connor, wanting to sit down, try get a short break from the amount of walking they have done. It's too much for him. His father is really good in doing those things, having been a hunter in the woods himself.

For his entire life, his dad loves to go hunting with his brother and father when they were younger. It's a part of them and if they don't hunt, they would become bored as they would want to do something really fun and energetic in their lives.
