Shutting the door, inserting her key into the lock, inserting it on the left, locking the door, rushing out of the door, throwing her bag away from her and removing her jacket, just dropping it on the ground as she rushes to the stairs.

Making it up to the hallway filled with the rooms upstairs, she runs to her room. Choosing not to close her door, going to the bathroom, opening the light and looking at herself in the mirror. A reflection of herself, in a panic. In fear.

Washing her face. Rubbing it madly, violently. Patting onto the water tap really hard. Groaning in fear, she doesn't know what to do now.

She has a huge fine to pay to the government. And she knows that if she isn't able to pay the fine to them, she would face dangerous consequences, consequences she won't be able to handle.

Her face washed, she doesn't bother to dry it up. Only reaching towards her bed.

Looking at everything, her drawers, closets, even under the bed which is filled with many personal stuff Mary owns throughout her life. Looking for money. Praying to herself that she has the necessary funds to pay for the fine, even if the fine is huge, larger than the one she has paid before.

Going into her drawers, finding a wallet inside, looking inside, only £125. Not enough but she'll take what she has. Looking in the closet. Hoping to find something. Nothing. It's all filled with shoes, leggings, trousers, jeans and shoes she doesn't wear. She usually puts shoes she hasn't worn for a long time in that closet. Only wearing them again if she needs it. Despite this, there's nothing inside, nothing that could hopefully help her pay the fine.

Looking under the bed. Finding a piggy bank under the bed. One she used when she was younger with her family and her best friend Joseph.

"Please let there be money." Opening her piggy bank, only coins. It's not enough to pay for everything.

"No no no no no no." Repeating the word many times as she desperately looks under her bed. Continuously for minutes.

But it's pointless, she'll never be able to find money from there. Coming to the conclusion that she will never be able to pay the fine on time. She may have to spend the rest of her life in the quarantine zones. Mary knows how it feels to be in the quarantine zones. In her perspective, it's like hell. Once anyone is sent there, there's no coming back, there's no escaping from it.

Standing up with the coins in her piggy banks in both of her hands. Raising herself up. "FUCK!" She screams as she throws the piggy bank. Breaking the pot.

Defeated, she lowers herself down, laying herself behind the bed. Her anger turned into sadness, tears slowly coming out of her eyes but the tears are uncontrollable for her. She doesn't want to let the emotion out of herself. But it's hard to resist it. She's defeated, there's no way she can pay the fine and she knows once the deadline is hit, it's time to face the consequences and have a life she will never bare till death.

Wailing, she lowers her head on both of her legs. Wailing, she doesn't know what to do now. And even if she has an idea that she could have used to pay that fine, it will be useless.

Continuing to cry over it. Until someone calls her name. Calling her name but Mary is too deaf to hear it. She's too focus on the current situation she is in.

"Mary. Mary!" Finally hearing his voice. Taking off her airpods, looking behind her, Joseph. Smiling at her but also trying to hold his laugh over what he's about to say next.

"You really need to stop listening to your music at maximum volume." She becomes annoyed over that.

"But at least I can probably enjoy my music without anyone interrupting me."
