We better get back home before your mom realises we're not back home." Michael agrees. They have been in the beach for a few minutes now. They'll follow the stars another day. When the time is right.

They raise themselves off the sand with the sand all around their trousers and buttocks. Wiping it off, they walk back home.

The two would continue having conversations as they walk back home. Talking about what they're going to do after Liam returns home once he's done sleeping over at Michael's house.
Only to see police cars parked at the front of Michael's house. Looking at each other, thinking what might be going on, if it's something related to Michael, or related to Benjamin, wanting to find out, they rush straight back to the house.

Making it, they see police officers talking to Benjamin. Benjamin looks at them in horror. He doesn't like what the police officers are telling them. Seeing this makes Michael concerned. He tries to approach his father. Only for Norman to stop him.

"Norman, what happened?" As he puts his hand in his chest, stopping Liam and Michael from approaching his father.

"Not now boys." Benjamin sees the two of them. He walks to them while the police officers remain in their positions in this house.

"No Norman, let them through. They need to know." Hearing this, he lets go of the boys, letting them pass through.

Michael sits on the couch, next to his father. Liam standing along with Norman. Wondering what's going on with the police being in the house.

"Father what's going on?" His eyes, filled with tears that have already been dried. It's like he's been crying for a couple of minutes. The news the police may have given him, may have destroyed him from the inside.

"It's your mother." He says in a stuttering tone.

"What about my mom? Is she ok?" Benjamin doesn't answer. He doesn't feel prepared to say this in front of his son. A young boy who isn't ready to bare the news.

"Father... is mom ok?" Benjamin, feeling afraid to face his son in the eyes, puts his head down. This would change Michael for the worse.

"Your mother has been in a terrible accident. The doctors tried to save her, but it was already too late." Michael couldn't believe it. It's not true he thinks. His mother is still alive, she has to be.

"Son... your mother is gone." In a quiet but calm manner. Michael looks away from his father.

His denial over losing his mother, stopping him from his tracks. Realising she is no longer with him anymore. Benjamin, the father who has never done anything but focused on his work, goes to him. But his son's grief gets the better of him. He screams at his father.

Liam, hearing everything, becomes shocked. Tears beginning to come out of his eyes. Liam has also adored Michael's mother the moment he has met her. Now he will no longer see her for the rest of his life.

Michael screams, yelling at the police, telling them he wants to see her. He wants to know if that body is hers. He doesn't believe its her. It might be someone else. His mother couldn't be in a car accident, it might have been someone else's. It has to be. It has to!

Benjamin couldn't say a single word to him. His son is completely covered in grief. The same goes with the police officers who have nothing to do but watch him be filled with grief. There's nothing they can do for him.

Michael leaves the living room. Going outside, into the pool. Seeing the table, he flips it as he screams from the top of his lungs.

Liam approaches him, opening the door slowly. Michael sees him but turns his back. Not wanting him to be there. He wants to be alone. Liam will not take it as an answer.
