An alarm sound from the other side. Mary, laying in her bed with the blankets covering all of her body, from top to bottom. Hearing the alarm, she groans annoyingly as she covers herself completely with the blanket. Covering her ears with the blanket.
She is completely awake, still suffering from the headache, the effects of the alcohol from last night. Her room still remains a mess with the table still flipped and ruined. The bathroom door still open and the shards of glass remaining in the toilet.
Her headache becomes really bothering for her. Wishing the pain goes away. The alarm would last for a couple of minutes until the sound stops. Ending the noise. Hearing this no more, she falls back to sleep while hiding in her blanket.
Her phone vibrates really loud. Her eyes much wider. Coming out of the blanket, grabbing her phone, looking who's calling her in this time of the day, unaware on how long she has been asleep.
John is calling her due to his name popping at the background of her phone. Unsure what is going on, she answers the phone, wanting to see why John is calling her.
"Hello."
"Hey Mary, how are you?" Looking around the room. Really messed up.
"I'm okay." She said as she looks around. Her really all over the place like its own personal resting place for birds to be in to take care of her children and lay her eggs.
"Cool, are we still up for the meetup?" Mary becomes unsure, struggling to remember what has happened yesterday. "I'm sorry what?"
"The meetup, we were supposed to meet up today. When I'm free so that we can walk around, have a good talk, maybe buy some food and coffee along the way." Her mind starts to become clear. Remembering the conversation they both had in the shops, along with a memory of her online meeting with Daniela. That's a memory she would love to forget. It's so painful to hear what Danielasaid to her during the online chat.
"Oh yes. We're still up for the meet up. I'll meet you up by the far end of the store... away from Sgt Dickhead." John laughs from the other end.
"Great, I'll see you there."
"See you." She hangs up the call. Looking at the time. 13:04. She slept the whole night. The pills she took from the bathroom made her sleep the whole way through. Helps her become really tired throughout the day. But more pills would knock her out between 12-24 hours.
Looking around her room. Realising it's a complete mess. Tidies everything up. Lifting her table back to its normal place, despite looking in bad shape. Getting her vacuum and broom stick, wiping everything, vacuuming the shards of glass in the bathroom. Spraying some chemicals into the floor, the walls and everything before wiping them with wipes.
The cleaning took half an hour. With everything done, she goes to the bathroom. Not bothered in taking a shower, only washing her hair. Brushing her teeth, using a mouthwash to hide her alcoholic breath, not wanting John to smell it when they talk to each other.
Getting her clothes, wearing a simple short sleeve shirt and jeans. The room isn't completely clean but for her, it'll do as she comes out of the room. Rushing downstairs as she sprays perfume all around her. Grabbing her house key, inserting it at the front door and twisting it, opening the front door and allowing her to go outside, ready to meet up with John.
Outside, closing the front door, despite knowing that there isn't anyone that will try come to her, break into her house.
Walking outside, passing by different soldiers. Some of the soldiers look at her as she continues walking straight ahead.
John wants Mary to meet him at the exit of the shop, despite knowing this area was where John was attacked by Gregory. Mary doesn't like it but doesn't seem to mind, as long as she doesn't come across Gregory, and his ugly looking face.
