A buzz cut through your dream, and you groggily opened an eye to find yourself tangled in your blanket. You were a sticky, sweaty mess, and the bright sunlight shining through the window was giving you  a headache.

You looked over your desk to see Emil was calling you, as well as 12 new notifications. You scrolled through to see all of them were missed calls from Emil.

Sighing, you answered Emil's call. "What?" you asked grouchily.

"(Y/N)-chan! Were you asleep?"

You groaned. "Of course I was! Geez, Emil, don't you know it's rude to wake people up so early? It's-" You looked at your clock. "It's thirty minutes past noon!"

"That's early? I thought you would be awake by now. Anyway, is it okay if your parents drive me to the anime convention? It's in town, and I know it's on their way to work."

"Yeah, whatever."

"You should come, too!" Emil offered. "I heard Tadashi-san was going to be there. Well, not at the convention, but the award ceremony for robot constructing, which is in the same building."

Robot constructing? No thanks. "What am I going to do there?" you mumbled. "It's not like I have a cosplay or anything."

"I'll feel lonely if I go alone! And I'll get lost!" You could practically hear the fake sobs.

You left your bedroom. "Fine. But not because Tadashi's there."

"What kind of crazy getup is that?" you yawned as Emil climbed into the backseat beside you.

"I'm Uchiha Sasuke!" Emil said. "Isn't this cool?"

"Yeah, sure." You were kind of impressed. After all, Emil's stepmother was a makeup and costume expert, since she worked at some kind of studio. She must have helped Emil with his cosplays, because it looked pretty dang professional.

"He's a character from Naruto," Emil said cheerfully. "He's kind of mean, so. . ." He elbowed you cheerfully. "You can give me tips on how to be a tsundere."

You scoffed. "Right."

The entire ride there, your mother was gushing to Emil how different he looked, and they were chatting noisily while you just stared out the window.

Robot constructing. . . What if the creepy SFIT advertiser man is there? You decided if he came near you with a robot, you would grab that sword thing from Emil and stab him or something.

I'm supposed to be talking to Tadashi. Stop worrying about this other man. When you were dropped off, Emil tugged you to the building, waving goodbye to your mom.

"This better be worth it," you muttered.

Emil fixed his weird red-and-black eyes on your (E/C) ones. "Don't worry! If you get bored, you can always talk to Tadashi-san."

As soon as you entered the building, Emil's happy-go-lucky face fell into a icy frown. "Uh, are you okay?" you nudged him.

"I'm being in character," Emil explained. Oh. Right.

You looked around the building, feeling quite out of place. A woman, probably an employee, nodded to you. "Are you here for the convention or the presentation?"

"We might come to the presentation after the convention," you replied as Emil led you away.

"Hey, who knows? Tadashi might be here! The presentation hasn't started, you know," Emil said. He started to say something else until some girls started shrieking when they saw him.

"You know, this makes me pretty uncomfortable," you muttered as the group of girls rushed over. "Can I go look around?" You glanced away, and you spotted a familiar head full of black hair. Not, not Tadashi's, but his brother's.

Emil didn't answer, because he was too busy trying to keep the girls from touching him.

"OH MY GOSH! He even has the Sharingan!" one of the girls gasped.

"You're, like, my favorite character!" another gushed. You couldn't help but snicker at these airheads. You looked over back at Tadashi's brother. He was dressed up in some kind of costume that looked like an ordinary guy. A blue-and-yellow jacket, black-and-red shirt. . . .that's when you realized he was Hiro Takachiho from Marvel.

If he's here, then Tadashi must be here. . . right? You thought about your conversation with ADifferentAngle last night. Glancing back at Emil, who was grudgingly showing the girls his sword, you nodded to him to let him know you were going to walk around. He nodded slightly, then turned back to the crazy fangirls.

"Sasuke, why did you leave Naruto? Like, he-"

"Hmph. I have my reasons," Emil muttered as you hurried away to Tadashi's brother.

"Hey," you said as you approached him. He looked up, confused, and recoiled.

"You're that girl from 'Dashi's school!"

Okay. So he was Tadashi's brother. "Uh, yeah. . . where is he?"

The little kid stuck out his tongue. "Why do you want to know? Do you like him?"

You wanted to punch him in the face after that remark. "No. I need to talk to him."

"You chased him down just so you could talk to him? You pretty much do like him." He adjusted his big jacket. "He's over there." As soon as the words left his mouth, Tadashi appeared, giving you a strange look.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, bewildered.

"She's gonna ask you to marry her," his brother said. You gave him a glare.

"No, I just need to talk to you," you corrected.

Tadashi thought about it for a moment. "Yeah, I need to talk to you to."

You narrowed your eyes. "Why?"

"Someone suggested it to me."

An icy ball formed in your stomach. "Who?"

"Someone online. I just met them, but their advice seemed pretty good," Tadashi replied. "Why does it matter?"

You were silent. "Okay. Let's talk, ADifferentAngle."
