First Day

Caitlin's Pov

I was talking to Kate and Gabbie when I got a call from my mom. Reese is moving in today and I was waiting for a call telling me that they have arrived to move her stuff. I get a call from my mom when I answer my mom says "Hey Cait, we're around 10 minutes out from the dorms". I respond saying "Okay mom, drive safe, love you." She replies "Love you too sweetie". I turn back to the girls after putting my phone away. "Sorry about that guys it was my mom telling me they are almost here" I say to Gabs and Kate.  "You're all good C" said Kate while Gabbie nods in agreement. "I gotta go to my sister's dorm to help her move in." "Can I come C I'm bored and I can help y'all move boxes and stuff?" Kate says while saying bye to Gabbie as she has an appointment to get to. "I don't see why not" I say while hugging Gabbie bye. 

Reese's Pov 

I'm moving in to my dorm today and to be honest I'm super nervous but also excited. I'm nervous because this is the first time I'm really going to be away from my parents for a significant amount of time but I'm gonna be around Caitlin, my comfort person. We're around 10 minutes out from the dorms and I'm slowly getting more nervous, my leg bouncing rapidly while I'm picking at my nails, a nervous tick of mine. As we're pulling in I'm messaging my roommate and best friend, Emma Parker, we met in high school. She was the schools main photographer, me being a basketball player we talked often. I also got her to take some pictures for me when we graduated.

We're about 10 minutes out from the dorms.

Okay girly, I'm out grabbing some stuff 

at the store, I'll be home soon

Kate's Pov

To be honest I was a little nervous to meet Caitlin's sister. I don't really know why tho because I've already met the rest of her family and they are all super nice, but it feels different. Caitlin's never really talked about Reese and I've always wondered why she hasn't because she talks about the rest of her family. I'm just gonna ask her. "Hey C, why don't you ever talk about Reese?" "Um well, uh Reese.. she's been through some stuff and I'm super protective of her because she's my baby sister." I figure it's not best asking what happened, I instead say "Is there anything that makes it worse?" "Um yea she's not good around loud sounds, balloons especially and she's not great with touch unless it's Emma or our family." I pause for a second making a mental note of what C said. "Emma? Who's Emma?" "Oh right, she's Reese's best friend and roommate, she's like the opposite of Reese; outgoing, loud, an extrovert." As she finishes her sentence we pull up to the dorms. 

Authors Note: What do y'all think of it so far? Feedback would be good on how I can improve my writing since it's my first story, thank you guys I'm sorry it's super short.
