Kate's Pov:
Reese and I have been doing great. She has gotten so much better after that incident with the fuckhead Jake or Jack or something I don't fucking remember maybe just dick. Yea that's it just dick. We have been going a cute dates and having movie nights that just end in cuddles. But there are still some things we haven't done. Minor things, major things, sexual things. But I just want her to feel comfortable and safe. I don't care how long it takes. One thing we have actually spoken to each other about is sharing our relationship. Caitlin obviously knows about it because I asked for her permission to date Reese. But we haven't told any of our other teammates. Mainly because they talk a lot and the fact that it's so new. We haven't told our coaches which is just because we are scared because we are teammates, not like a scared coming out thing but just getting in trouble since we are dating and are teammates. Our parents don't know yet. Reese's parents are supportive "as long as it is a healthy relationship." Or that's what they told Caitlin when she dated her first girl. My parents don't really care, they don't ask about that kinda stuff but they also don't say that they would kill me. I mean obviously they haven't decided to kill me for it, I'm openly a lesbian. For a while now.
We want to wait and tell our parents in person, it feels more sincere and meaningful than over a phone call or text message. We now we need to tell the coaches soon I mean they deserve to know. At first when we talked about it we were going to tell the girls first but we figured that coaches first is the wisest decision. We have practice at 2 today that goes till 4 so plenty of time to talk to them afterwards as long as they don't have any prior commitments. We grab all our gear from my room. Most nights Reese sleeps over at our place (Cait and I's). She said that it has helped with their nightmares so much plus it's super nice to cuddle all night long and wake up to that beautiful face of the girl that is all mine.
Reese's Pov:
We are sitting in the car, in traffic waiting to be able to get to practice. As we are just sitting here it starts actually occurring to me that we are tell our coaches about our relationship in less than 3 hours. That is so nerve racking. I mean I know that they will support us I mean Coach Jensen literally has a wife. And Coach Bluder doesn't care who you love as long as it's good for you. I feel Kate slide her hand onto my upper thigh gently caressing my skin to comfort my nerves while not even looking in my direction. She knows me so well. "It's gonna be okay baby, I'll say very thing and they care and love us. It will all work out in the end." "I know thank you Katie." "Always baby."
A/n: Super shirt but I didn't really feel like writing, this is not proof read.
