Chapter 11: Earth Y

Void stops talking, Zephyr turns around to see what caused his voice to seize. It's Luna, pretty Luna standing right next to Aurora. He turned to Aurora and he asked, "who's she? I never saw her face on the monitor."

       Luna walks closer to him saying, "I'm Luna Orion, daughter of Galen Orion. You must be my father's enemy I guess." His face showed nothing but annoyance. He thought of her words.

     "I'm guessing your father never told you the full story, did he? He never told his kids that he married the woman that I wanted, he never told you that he stole my plans and decided to execute it as his own, he never told you that he took my power surge and ran with it to a hidden place, just to call it a sudden disappearance. Do you kids ever ask the right questions? I'm the victim here! Not him! Me! If you even attempted to evaluate the options and made a choice, you would see me as the better master."

       They stood in silence, Luna could feel the depth of his betrayal. He continued talking, "he stole my girlfriend, in fact my fiancee. He took the power surge I made and he opened the portals, he joined this firm to hide his ways and operations. I decided to buy it and take back my property. We were supposed to own this property together but he left me behind, he tricked me. Don't you get it?"

         Vexis asked, "Do you really think that all evil is evil? Sometimes the evil allowed may be better than the good presented to you. Don't make a mistake of thinking the hard ones are always the wrong set of people. Write to your father like you've always done, ask him? Let's see who's lying here."

        Luna asked, "are you Vexis?"

      He replied, "of course, you already know who I am. Your father's running from the truth. He's running from me but he luckily left his family behind. He's avoiding the courts and so he decided to go into exile by himself knowing fully well, I'll do it worse for him. He's guilty and he's refused to submit to Solstice."

      Luna asked, "Who's that?"

     Vexis smiled and replied, "Your highest court master, the supreme of the all realms you could think of. That's who he is."

      Aurora speaks out, "wait! We need transparency in this situation. First, you said something about Elysium. Let's trash that out first."

      Void responded, "there's no need for it, it's actually past. She got him and I got mine. Leave it." He walks away from them, Vexis as well.

        Aurora steps away into her office, "Luna we need to get out of here soon, we've got a few minutes left. With his current mood he might shut down the power. Come see this." Luna slowly walked to her still thinking about what Void said. She sat by Aurora staring at the direction he walked through.

         Zephyr swallowed his bitterness, he walked out before they even sat. Luna asked, "can you just download it into your phone? I need to leave this building. I don't like it here."

       Aurora agreed to her request. They drove out.

      Void walks back to her computer system, he uses his dramatic influence to create a room for mind triggering questions concerning who the real villain was. He sat by her computer, he logged in and downloaded all the theories Galen supposedly stole from him. He logged out and walked straight into the test center of the lab.

     He drops the phone, he goes through the files in the glass cabinet. He takes the tip of his fingers to the black file. It's Xander's.

       Void dropped the file on the table, he opened it and read through. He walked to the white table with the blood tubes on it, he took the time and drew out a part of Xander's blood from it. He took the syringe and began his personal research, Vexis stared at the papers. He knew his cousin was up to no good.

      He asked, "what are you doing? You are not opening the portal are you? You know you've not fully developed the full theory or even the apparatus for it or any of its processes. This is a terrible idea Void." Void ignored him at first, he looked Vexis in his face and he turned away to the microscope.

      Vexis walked up to him there, "are you even listening to me? Did you hear a word I just said?"

       Void replied, "I heard it, I heard it all and I'm not doing anything about it. Trust me, what you see is exactly what I'm doing. I need to get past this part and I'll need his blood for it. He's the answer to the gateway."

        Vexis just lost his words, he's in total awe at this new desperation of Void's. He turned to the phone, he took it and scanned through the theories. He'll need something like this.

       He asked, "what do you need from the other side of this portal you are about to open?"
  
        "I need access to the earth's realms. Everyone of them." Void runs down to the lower floor, he pinned them to the wall.

      "Why?" Vexis asked.

    "Because, I need to prove my work and extend my arms into Earth HZ. Why do you care all of a sudden? You didn't like the idea the first time."

       Vexis smiled and replied, "I'm not interested, I just wanted to understand what level of madness you'd like to get to." He's about to walk out leaving Void deserted but he turns after he sensed a light behind him. The portal, it's open.

       He stared into the hole in the wall, Vexis moved closer to it. He heard the sound emerging from the other side, he couldn't interpret it. "I'll never know when I'll have this opportunity again, I need to cross over." Void takes a space jumpsuit from the side, he wears it on. He walked close to the portal, he exhaled and he walked through it.

      He walked into a new realm, it had dark blue sand and dark blue skies. It had no sun or moon, no stars or clouds either, he looked to the right and the left. He got lost in the severely mesmerizing world.

     "My God." He stood there taking glances at the realm. It was quiet and cold, his suit started freezing up. He noticed the ice forming slowly on his suit, so he walked back into Earth X.

     He smiled and laughed, Vexis asked, "what did you see?". He turned to him laughing, he took his suit off and he attempted to turn it off but it didn't go off. His smile faded.

       He tried again but he couldn't. He decided to take his hands to the side. He manually attempts to turn it off by scattering the position of the machine but the energy's too much. The machine throws him and the machine to the ground.

      This created a loophole in the wall, a large dark mark on the surface of the wall. He stayed on the floor, "how are you going to cover such a dark mark? Look at its size?"

     He stood on his feet slowly, he moved a long cloth over it. He replied,"there, it's covered." He smiled and walked out, Vexis shut the door after they walked out together.

      Certainly they had the feeling of victory, their ecstatic mood called for celebration but they forgot the laws of the dimensions, the energy attracted a creature unknowing to Void.

      The building seems quiet after they leave through the doors, a spark struck. It's from the wall, the portal opens up again. A creature walks through it.

      It's pale and cold. It escaped through the loophole Void created.

     It's the Astral Chimera. The hybrid from the realms. The joker of the seven creatures of the galaxies.
