Xander walked around with intense rage for a week, he was still jobless and without a means of any form of stable employment, not even a side hustle. Annabel Kira Peters wondered around the building but kept a calm and respectful pace from him.

Xander just walked into the building and decides to take the elevator, he walked in and before it closed he just realised she was standing there. He noticed she wore a face cap and she kept her head low, she didn't want to be noticed.

He felt like he was harsh the last time, he wanted to make a move. He looked at her while her eyes remained glued to her phone screen, he wanted to hold her hand. He missed her warm caramel scent, he touched her hand softly. He moved closer to her body, he grabbed her by the waist.

She pushed him away, she wanted her self respect preserved. She looked at him like she was upset, her eyes were fiery and deep. He knew he hurt her feelings, the elevator doors opened and she walked out to her room without a single word erupting out of her mouth.

She locked her door and her heart stopped beating fast, she wanted to be close to him but he wasn't interested in her. She felt like a fool for even getting close to him in the first place.

He knocked on her door, "Kira?" She ignored like she wasn't there. He waited for a while and he walked away, after all it was already a whole week since they had that argument.

He really wanted her to be with him. He sent her a text, and she snubbed it. He called her but she didn't pick. He dropped his phone and made up his mind to watch the news instead.

He just restocked his kitchen, he dropped his plate and even ignored the tv he turned on. He was deep in thought over Kira. He was too insecure and she was too secure. It wasn't the perfect match but then it was supposed to be.

His phone made a sound, he received a message. He ignored it and laid low to his couch, he slept off.

A few hours later, it was evening. A knock hit his door but he was too deep in his sleep. The person knocked again, his eyes opened, he got up with a dizzy sight. He opened the door without even asking, his room had a low light on.

The pizza delivery man was at the door, "Sir you ordered pizza for this scheduled time. Here it is."

Xander replied, "thank you." He took the box of pizza and he walked away. Few minutes after another knock hit the door and this time it irritated him. He walked straight with inner rage and opened the door

It was her, he melted immediately "Hey I sent you a message and you haven't replied yet so I came in to check on you." She said.

He was glad, she forgave him. Of course he wanted to make it up to her, he pulled her into his body for a warm tight hug. He sniffed her vanilla scented hair, he removed his face and looked into her eyes. She fitted so well into his arms.

He kissed her cheeks, she stayed silent with a calm countenance. "So you missed me huh?"

He smiled and said, "Kira, I'm so sorry for being that insecure. I didn't mean to be a total jerk, I wasn't sure of you. I'm sorry, it's not happening again."

She smiled at him this time, she offered what she brought with her. The box of doughnuts and cookies, he smiled saying, "thank you."

He locked the door, he was curious about her always having baked snacks. A question popped up in his mind, he asked, "You always have a baked snack in your possession, do you bake them? Or do you buy them?"

She sat on the couch and replied, I made these but I also sell them too. I happen to own a bakery store downstairs, it's within the building. I hired someone to run it for me while I do other remote jobs."

He found that interesting, she had her own business. She was independent, "really? A mini bakery? That's fantastic, you don't look like you bake you know. You look like you work in finance or maybe a library."

"Really? Finance? That's too far and that's not my main niche. Maybe the library sounds a bit better and speaking of remote jobs, I remember you needed one or do you still have other things in mind?"

He exhaled, he said, "Well, I do have other things in mind but first what do you have to offer?"

"You could sit by me, there's nothing wrong with that. You've been standing there for a while now."

Truly he just realised he stood for a while, he moved close to her and he sat by her on the couch. He was deeply mesmerized  by her scent, he wanted to eat her up. She had the scent of a newly baked cupcake.

He said, "Alright, I'm here now. Or would you want me in your clothes too?"

"If you want." She wanted his hands all over her body. His touch made her pressures go all the way down to the ground, she wanted her skin against his for all she cared.

He pulled her into his body, she was covered in his masculine scent. She continued talking, "I wanted a new online assistant. I wanted to have a joint partnership too, also I wanted a new friend. You know, we are not really friends yet. What do you think?"

He turned silent, his mind raced through the dimensions and back. He just wondered why she would want him under her, he simply blamed her inner woman for this level of independence. No he wasn't triggered, he was surprised.

"Kira? I agree for us to be friends but as your assistant? Not really. I prefer a more manly job." She found his statement insulting.

"Manly? Do you think baking is just for women? Wow, your mentality surprises me."

"Don't do that, I don't mean it that way and you know. Yes I would love to have a brownie every five minutes if I could but at the same time. I would prefer to have a more difficult job to teat my abilities."

She was even more than amused, "So you think measurements are not difficult? Do you know how hard it is to run a stable business when all you can think of is bills?"

"Kira, understand my point. We could have a joint partnership, I could get that remote job offer and you also could easily be my friend. Either way, we could get what we want."

"Are you afraid of women being on top?" She asked.

"Afraid? Don't be that serious. Have you seen my past dimension records? My last achievements? Have you forgotten you are speaking to a realm lord."

She was moved by his masculine attempt to belittle her below his stance, she found it to be rude but still it was sex to her. She wanted to know what he was like in bed, her mind flew through the best sex positions he could offer. He could feel her energy and he understood what she wanted but guess what he was too expensive to give it a try.

"Alexander? I'll give you a proper remote source. But if prefer you stop hiding and come to the light."

           "Kira? I am the light."

His words just fitted into her ears so perfectly.
