STELLARIUM(BOOK ONE)

Chapter 8: The Emergence Of Void

     "It could take a bit of the creature's power. It is the joker of the seven."

          Aurora smiled and responded to the last statement, "Joker? This should be the deadliest. I need more information from your father, it seems we need a little detail about this place. The time and the other galaxies too. If this earth and there are seven others intertwined in the atmosphere of Earth then I'll need to start again. Is that all he wrote?"

       Xander replied, "Yes." His eyes scanned the paper and he discovered he didn't read it all, "wait! This one, the seven galaxies and their powers? This is insane, Luna I think it's your turn to read. I'm dehydrated and I need water, good luck."

      He walks away to get some water, Luna already took the paper into her hands, "well I'll give it a try. The seven galaxies are Nova Arcadia, Nebula Nexus, Celestial Dominion, Orion's Realm, Andromeda Ascendanca, Cosmic Cluster and the Hyperion Sector." she takes a pause and she thinks, she continued, "you guys I think this corresponds with the creatures and the other location Xander mentioned. He wrote something on this other paper," she picks the paper up and reads, "if you must know, I didn't get here by myself. Someone made me disappear, it's an old enemy of mine. He saw me as competition and a rival because of my work and my wife. He loved her and I married her. His name is Doctor Malachi Void, he's a cousin to Vexis."

         Astrid asked, "isn't that the Vexis he asked us to avoid? Oh that's why he's asking us to avoid him because he already tested him. I think dad's disappearance happened because he wanted to correct things with Void. I've seen this man, I know him. I could describe him as the quiet kind, I'm surprised he's trouble to us. We need to ask for the full story. What really happened, I don't think this is the end of it, we need more information from him."

         Luna reads again, "avoid his family, avoid his laboratory and his devices. Don't test him either, he wants revenge. He works for the enemy and that's himself of course, he had two daughters named Seraphina Void and Lyra Void. His wife's name is Aurelia Ravenna Void, she's your mother's enemy too because she wanted to marry me and not Malachi. You should be aware of my battles."

         Luna drops the paper on the table, she takes her hand to the bag pack she brought. She pulls out a bag from it, "I remember dad giving me this book, it had symbols of things he claimed to have seen in a vision. I think they got the description of the creatures Xander read out, also the locations as well. If that's here then the portal and the method of reaching him must be limited and it works with time."
    
         It's evening and Aurora creates blueprints of the structures of the buildings seen in the book given to her by Luna. She's about to draft out some drawings and her phone beeps, it's a message. Mara turns her hand to the sound the beep came from and of course she knows where that beep came from. She knew it was the Cosmic Nexus Consortium, the league of the scientists. They need her back.

        Mara asked, "Any issues? What's wrong?" She stood by her.

       Aurora replied, "he needs me to pick up the remaining weapons? He said he needs me to get there fast before Void does." Their eyes open at the sound of the name. Luna responds, "I think it's a trap, I think he's there already. Wait he made Dad disappear so he could get the weapon our father created?"

       Xander replied, "Now it makes sense to me how he did this, and why as well. But the other question is why did Dad create the weapons? This doesn't make any sense, he had another life on his own. I'm going with you Aurora, tell me when you are ready."

       Aurora doesn't agree with him, "No you need to stay here, I need to get your mother. She sent me a text to get to her, she's scared. They already took the machines home."

        Xander replied, "I'm coming with you, now. I'm not taking no for an answer, you'll need help when you get there," She exhaled and agreed.

         They reach the house, his mother Elysium Nova already took her bags and she stood at the front waiting for Aurora. She takes her bags with a rush walking towards the car, she stops when she sees Xander. It's been three years since she's seen her only son. She hugs him, he smiles at her. "You finally grew the beard, Xander? Really?"

       He replied, "Yeah I did, come on let's go we have a lot to talk about. First it's a crazy story about your husband."

       She laughs at his statement and says "Trust me when I tell you this, he doesn't surprise me anymore. Your father had too many lives to live; he had to disappear to get more."

           Aurora drives to the building, she walks in leaving them in the car. She takes herself to the back, and she notices something about the packages. They are not tampered with, they seem new. She opens one to check, it's for Galen but it looks like it's carrying a stamp of someone else, it should be for Void. Just immediately she sees a man with a white coat, he has black hair and a beard of course. He spoke well, at least from a distance. She hid herself, they're coming towards her direction from a far distance. She looks around, she notices herself not seeing Doctor Marcus Evergreen. He already left, he doesn't want a sight of Void. He already bought the firm. She ran with the boxes in the sets, she dragged them out and she shut the door. As she moves she successfully gets outside after escaping several staff. She sees a car driving in, she shuts the doors of her car and hides, she bends low to spy on him. It's a young man.

          He's got the same dark hair like that of Void, he looks like Void. That must be his son, she stared at him again, it's his son. He had a son? She never knew, she can't remember Xander saying anything like that for the paper. Xander saw this young man and he froze, it's his friend. He yells, "hey! Hey Zephyr! This way!" He steps out of the car to meet him.

         Zephyr turns to him with a smile, and they hug. "It's been a while, you left the laboratory and didn't come back. What's wrong?"

        Xander explains, "My dad went missing and I'm trying to get him back, I heard your dad's around though".

        Zephyr had the same charm his father had, he smiled and responded, "Yeah I'm sorry about that, I'm here to see him, he bought this firm a while back. I'm here to see it and pick my favorite space before someone else does."

       Xander nods and smiles. "Well, I need to leave now."
