During the handshake, Xander truly saw himself at the library before looking into Solstice's eyes. It made it look like a vision, it felt it was real. Solstice tried to warn him of something at the library.
He saw a man seated at the library, it looked like Nebula. Still he saw someone else, it wasn't a man. The person's face turned blurry but he was sure they were two of them. One shorter and another average tall. Both had dark brown hair, before the first woman turned, he snapped out of it.
His mind never left that moment, he really wanted to know who the two women were, also the young boy the aurum sphere spoke of.
He trained at the library hoping he would run into any of them but he never did. Not even Nebula, he handles the majority of the court affairs when Solstice wasn't around. 'Xander.'
Xander turned his gaze to the surrounding he sat in, he heard a calm voice call his name. It sounded like the aurum sphere or the lunaract. He stayed quiet for a while thinking he'll hear it again but this time he didn't. He turned his eyes to the pages of the book as he tried to cast another power out.
This time he fell into a vision, it made his eyes look blind. He saw nothing but utter darkness around him, he stayed silent. He saw a young woman standing with her back facing towards him. He tried to walk up to her but she disappeared. He saw himself on the ground this time.
His eyes glanced at the table he sat at, he saw an ornament under the table. He stretched his hand towards it but he couldn't reach it, so he moved closer. He caught it in his palms, it was covered in dust. It was a compass when it opened it up, he cleaned it and bent over to check for more items.
He tried to push the table to the side but it drilled into the ground, he took his hands into the dusty part. He drew out another item, this time a ring. It had a scent, the scent of a woman. It was floral and soft, so he took the ring and cleaned it. He wore the ring.
It transported him to another place, a void area. He looked around and saw the young boy wearing the crown on his head. That wasn't him, he saw the strange woman again. He took her arm forcefully but she disappeared again.
The ring brought him back to the library, this time he saw himself in front of the training ground. He saw the young boy walking through the fields, he saw the sun having an eclipse and he heard a sound emerge from the cloud as the darkness appeared.
Suddenly it stopped. Everything turned back to normal. He took the ring off his finger. He put it in his pocket.
His focus got back to the training ground. He walked back into the library and he took the compass with him. He walked out to his room.
It's a year after and he just got his gold medal for passing the tests and training set at Earth SDIA. Solstice smiled at him slightly, he placed the gold medal on his left side of his chest. Xander felt as proud as he could ever have felt, "Your new journey awaits you. Anticipate, you'll be facing new trials there. You'll be trained by one of the court lords. His name is Celeste, the sovereign regent Celeste. He's less friendly when compared to me and Apex, don't expect him to talk too much. When he gives his commands, you must follow them."
"Noted." Solstice walked away leaving Xander with Apex. "Be ready in ten minutes, you'll need to make a portal for your next trip. You should be ready for that. Good luck."
Apex walked away.
Xander took his bag, he opened the portal and he walked through it. His eyes noticed the color of the sand at the entrance, he smiled at the blue sun. It had a calming aura about it, he walked till he took note of the little being coming his way, he said, "lunaract."
It spoke back, 'wrong, I'm a Solaract. You must be Xander, son of Galen."
He responded, "yes I'm Alexander Nova, son of Galen Orion. Could you guide me to the royal house of Earth SEID?"
'That's my primary purpose, come with me. The Lord awaits you, put on the ring for discernment. Earth SEID can be tricky with it's new visitors.'
"Who would try to trick me? Celeste? Or you?" Xander asked.
'You must accord the lord the highest form of respect and honor. He won't take that lightly, also the earth is built to be a trickster. So wear your ring now before we proceed, you didn't find it and that compass by link, chance or mistake.'
Xander took the ring out of his pocket, he wore the ring on his left hand. He took out the compass, he walked behind the light figure till they got to the royal house.
At the gate, he asked, "why'd you let me walk when we can teleport here?"
'Xander this is Earth SEID, just because you had an easy start doesn't mean it'll always be easy. This is one of the hardest training grounds for beginners, that's the major reason Solstice let you see Apex before lord Celeste.'
The gates opened and he walked through, he noticed the gloomy colors associated with the royal house, his eyes seeing the strange woman walking alongside. Her hair covered her face, she stared at the other direction as she walked.
"Do you see that woman there? I've been seeing her for a while now."
'She must be from your vision, I see no one. I told you the trickery starts. This level trains your mindset more than your pleasure or physical strength. This chapter contains mental strength.'
"I see, trickery..."
The Solaract transformed into a lady and opened the door, she walked into the royal house. Xander walked in behind her.
The solaract spoke, 'My lord, I present Xander Nova, son of Galen.'
