Aster walked into the house, he saw Mara and Astrid talking. He noticed Galen wasn't around. The room turned quiet the moment he stepped in. He knew something was wrong, no smiles on the faces of the women. Not even Luna. He closed the door, he sat quietly.

Mara asked, "Aster? What happened at the lab today? Do you want her to abort this child?"

His eyes widened, he was beyond confused. "Abort? She wanted to abort not me. I agreed to the wedding Galen wanted."

"Galen? So you never wanted a real wedding. You are doing this for Galen? What about her or even you? Explain."

Aster felt uncomfortable, he said, "Mara, I want to marry her. I brought this question up to Galen and he said I should focus. I tried this several times, Astrid should try having a one-on-one conversation with her dad. I wanted us to get married and that's why I got her pregnant."

Mara asked, "Where is Galen? I need to speak to him and as for you. You'll need to work this out with her, with all patience and with all maturity. Do you understand? It's way bigger than what you planned. This is marriage now, not just dating. You need to work together."

She walked out to make a phone call to Galen. Luna stopped up in her room, she didn't want herself in this mess. She already had Xander on her mind.

The two of them stay silent, things and situations go well until she gets pregnant. "Astrid I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you by any means. I have a lot on my mind. Your father's been acting two-faced lately and I don't know why. He's missing his words and actions. Help me understand."

"It's fine. I just did what you asked. I spoke with Mara." He got up from his chair, he moved closer to hers. He sat by her, and he planted a soft kiss on her cheek. She liked it mildly.

He held her shoulder and rubbed it, "I love you. I wanted to marry you but your father, he's got another plan. You need to watch him, he's acting like Void nowadays."

"Void? Speaking of Void, he thought he was the father. I don't know why."

"Let's just plan this by ourselves, don't involve Galen. Please."

      "Alright then."

Mara walked into them already closed up on each other. She stood watching them hold each other like they never argued. They are distracted by her phone ringing, she turns her face to the phone. The light beamed on her skin, it was Galen.

She answered the call, "Hey, what's up?"

He replied, "Nothing, I just wanted to tell you that I'm home. I'm outside now, are you in? Is Astrid there with you?"

"Yeah, she is. Astrid and Aster. Walk in."

She dropped the call, Aster felt the tension from his space. He could tell, something went wrong. They weren't at a good place in their marriage right now. He turned his face to the door, Galen just opened it and walked through with some white polythene bags in his hands. He got some food items.

Aster stood to give him a handshake, Galen dropped the bags and accepted them. They hugged, and Galen said, "Aster, we need to talk. We need to have a proper talk today."

"Right," His eyes go to the person behind Galen. It's Luna. She carried the bags to the kitchen, she ignored their meeting. All she had on her mind was food.

Aster and Galen walk into his room for a private meeting, and Astrid follows afterwards.

A few hours later, the three of them stepped out of the room. It was too late for Aster to leave, so he followed Astrid. They moved till they got to her room. He held her waist from behind.

She turned around to look at his face, he kissed her lips.

He gently put her on the bed, he climbed and the heated romance continued. They fell asleep after a round of slow sex. He couldn't sleep even after she slept off, so he walked out of the room. He was shirtless, he let down his black shoulder-length hair. He pulled the fridge open to grab some orange juice.

He poured the quantity he wanted out of the jug and into his glass cup, he sipped on it first. He liked the taste so he gulped half of it down his throat.

He picked out the blueberries and grapes, he picked the bread and the jam. He made a little toast and ate. It's 1:15 am. His senses can feel like something's around the house. His brain could pick up some signals in the air.

Anyway, he ate like his life truly depended on it. And yes it did. He just noticed he forgot to take his phone with him to the kitchen, he just finished eating. He stood on his feet and he walked out to get it, getting there he just noticed someone looking at him.

He just stood there with a crown on his head, the little boy had a stern countenance. He was still and totally quiet, Aster stood watching and waiting for his next move. The next thing he knew, the little boy disappeared.

He exhaled his tension and built up fear in his chest through his nostrils, he just had a vision. He'd never felt like this before, the sex they had made their energies share and exchange. He just understood what he got himself into.

He walked into the room, he hoped to see the little boy again but he wasn't there. He took the phone and he immediately sat to send a text. He sent a text to Zephyr, his friend.

Zephyr replied, he walked out of the room to make a call to him. Zephyr asked, "The boy? You are seeing him too? Xander used to speak of a boy he saw once. What did he look like?"

Aster replied, "Well, little. He looked like a toddler. A usual toddler. He had a crown on it like he was a prince. That's all, I mean besides his quiet stance."

"Did you notice anything special about him? Maybe his face or maybe his body?"

"Zephyr? He looked like a little me. He had my texture of hair, he had my eyes and he…"

Zephyr noticed he was silent, he asked, "Are you there?"

Aster froze, Zephyr asked again, "Is he there?"

"Yes. He's staring at me. Right now." He said.

Zephyr responded, "Talk to him, say something."

"Alright." He tried to move closer to the boy without fear. He got a little closer.

He asked, "What's your name? Who are you?"

The little boy smiled and left. He disappeared into thin air.
