The next morning, the two had already moved to a forest close to the city they lived in. Kira drove them to the coven's headquarters. The building didn't resemble where witches met, even the surroundings gave nothing but a simple structure. Truly, systems have changed.
Kira knocked on the big door, it didn't look like a normal door. It was huge and made of iron. Xander noticed the knock, it had a pattern. That pattern opened the door by itself, no one stood behind it.
Xander walked through, gaping at the ceiling and the walls. He found the designs quite unique, the stone creatures and the suspended fire leading them ahead caused him to wonder.
Luna asked, where are we off to? Kira?"
She replied, "the room. Just that." That reply made Luna confused.
She asked again, "Kira? I need you to explain in detail as we move. I don't want any surprises at all." Kira stopped walking and turned to her impatiently. She just stared at her without a word. Luna got the message, she didn't want other form of discussion or even questions from anyone, her head already had enough.
Kira continued walking ahead of them, Xander stared at her walking away with a steel mood. He didn't utter a word, he walked behind her after she gave a few paces. Luna walked behind Xander.
They reached another door, a spot with just a wall. It happened to be a gateway of some sort, Kira placed both of her hands on the brick wall. She placed her head to listen to it.
She moved her hand to a hole on it, the wall opened into two creating a pathway for the trio to pass through.
After the wall, the view of a staircase leading them upstairs became visible to their physical eyes. She waited for the staircase to form properly, after the sound stopped. She placed her left foot on the first stair, she noticed it didn't have any traps and it didn't trigger any either. She placed her right foot and began to walk up the stairs.
Xander and Luna knew exactly what they had to do, follow. That was it. They walked behind her, focusing their eyes on the exact spot she stopped on and making sure their feet touched nothing but that exact spot as they walked up, behind her.
Kira reached the door, she looked around for a key. She raised the door mat and the rug but it wasn't there, Luna already had it.
Luna walked up to the door, she placed the key in the key hole and it opened up but not in the way they expected. The door wasn't a push and pull. It opened by sliding to the left. Kira gaped at her wisdom silently.
Luna shoved the door open by sliding it to the left, still shocked. She saw a wall. She uttered, "What?"
Xander's surprised as well, he stood in awe. Wall after wall didn't make any common sense, He turned to Kira and asked. "Kira, I think you need to answer some questions now, what in the world is this? What's this little fuzz about?"
"I don't know but understand that the coven hides more than the Blue Moon ever could. Relax, it's all about patterns."
Luna turned to her, "use your pattern then, we don't have all day." She stepped away from the wall, She wanted Kira to understand that she too had some level of arrogance in her system.
Kira however, snubbed her attempt to equate with her level of diplomatic arrogance. She walked close to the wall, she reached for an item in her pocket. She brought out a little light crystal, she drew a symbol on the wall. It looked like the snake eating it's tail, the sign of infinity of life for a man.
Luna remembered it, she moved close to Xander as Kira tried to open the door. She took out a little piece of paper and she wrote down some words. Xander took the message from her palms, she wanted him to watch her back as she walked to the side.
He agreed by nodding his head, she walked to the side. Kira focused on the stuck wall, trying to configure symbols of the coven's ancient ways.
Luna walked to the side, she sees a hallway. She looked at Xander making eye contact and she followed the hallway, she walked through the lane until she reached the door at the end. Luckily enough for her she had another key. She unlocked it, the door opened normally without a wall coming after it.
She suspected, after all. It was too easy. She walked in anyway, she entered the room filled with different little sized art works. She looked at the framed art and the sculptures. She turned to the left, she saw a box. A medium sized box with gold and brown covering.
Kira speaks from behind, "Luna!" Luna turned in shock. Xander walked past Kira, he moved close to the book shelf.
He said, "This is it, the exact place I saw in my vision. I've seen this exact room twice, I've been here before. I know this place then, this coven. Kira this is first isn't it? The largest too. I've forgotten their titles but I know them. Apex told me about them once, he mentioned that their order wasn't the type to play with."
Luna replied, "It's the Coven of Earth HZ, the strongest can be found here. That's why you and Kira are connected. That means our enemy may be a part of them as well. That's why Apex wanted us here together."
Kira asked, "how did you get those keys?"
Luna replied, "well if I must be direct, I believe we were snubbing each other a while ago. Let's keep it that way, okay? I don't think you need to know anything, after all you see me as some form of competition."
"Competition? You don't even compare." Kira said.
"Compare? Kira? That's enough. Ever since my little sister got here, you've been a red bump. If you've issues with me. Settle them with me, after all she's here to help. You can't know everything, that's why we are here as three." Xander replied.
Kira remained calm, she walked to the curtain by the far left. She moved it away, she opened the door and took out some crystals. She packed a bunch into her bag and she moed to the other book shelf looking for a book and more.
Xander didn't understand the change in her mood swings, after all it was only his sister and as a witch she was, Luna practised with science and the moon. Shouldn't they be friends?
He ignored her mood anyway, Luna already took out some pieces of paper. They looked old, they looked like maps.
Kira took out some portion bottle too, she turned to Xander. "Here, drink these three bottles. They'll make you darker."
Xander refused, "I don't think so, they've been in here for how long?"
She replied, "The time is not the problem, it shouldn't cause you to worry. The Power within it should be your concern. Take them." She placed them in his hands, he held on to them. He opened the first one, the second and the third. He slurped down the first, he waited for a reaction but he didn't get any. It yatsed like whiskey. He took the second and still received no form of sensitive reactions from his body, he drank the third and dropped them in her hands.
He stepped back and waited, suddenly he collapsed to the ground. His eyes closed up leaving him unconscious.
