Have you ever felt empty and fractured?
We were the deficits, the shortages, squeezed and squandering as our youth slipped out from our bones, our grasps like an accidental spill.
There is a shriek inside of me that is unraveling.
We were raw, our hearts tender, flinching when our sores were open, changing, peeling off the rubble, we were lunatics wandering after heartbreak.
