Your hands cover my face, your fingertips stroke my lips, and I press my cheek against your skin so deep I relinquish the warmth and tickle my breath. My bones forget the ache and my heart stitches itself back together.
I wished I could say I never called you out but I did.
It's better than being strangled by my worries and the gnawing sting.
Poison tainted my tongue but you will always be home to me.
