Emotional substitutes
that just don't get it.
A mirror smashed,
a damaging soul,
dumbfounded in a blazing
turmoil, it shudders leaving her
with faint gashes and slits
that lacerate her skin.
When she bleeds they pretend
not to notice,
they pretend it isn't
their fault.
Their clothes just don't fit,
a match forced to wander.
