How do you get over someone you love?
They say to delete him out of your life.
The pictures.
His number.
Unfollow him on social media.
But that doesn't get rid of the memories.
The flashbacks that take you back in time to when you first met.
When you first fought.
The moment you realized there was no one you rather be with than with him.
How bad it hurt when he left without a word
And how it still does.
People still mention his name even when you don't want them too.
He still finds a way back in your brain even when you haven't thought about him in weeks.
So how do you get over someone you love?
You don't.
You let every single emotion hit you at it's hardest.
Until the pain doesn't hurt anymore
And the sound of their name doesn't sting.
Until they become someone you used to love,
And that decided to leave.
